Think Before You Act - Stop the Negativity

On these forums we have a problem. The negativity is just terrible. Here's some advice:

If someone is being rude, or just completely disrespectful to you, don't let it get to y and don't dwell on it.

But never let the negativity bring you down

Some people may say...

But just...

Just always remember:

This community needs to stop the negativity to decrease the amount of people leaving because of bullying.

I truly hope that this helps people and that it could even help you in real life with problems. This thread directly relates the @RobyNub1337 's thread pertaining bullying.

I'm tired of a lot of people on here. I love the server and forums, but tey would be better without these people. I hate to say it but it's true... =/

Someone's Negative? Well, then they're negative. Not your problem. You don't control their life, they do.


EDIT: Negativity and Bullying: Two completely separate things. I could go into a long talk, but i'd start offending some people if I did.

 

It is your problem. If someone is being rude and negative to you, won't you be offended. Also what if it gets to a constant bullying by the same person? Would it still not be your problem? Is that how you want your community to be? If it is well ok and I guess I will try to avoid you because I do not like the negativity.

No, if someone else is negative, it is not our problem. I had a problem over this with a close friend of mine last year on these forums. Actually, two. I explained how it isn't their problem how I act, especially when there is nothing wrong with it. Someone's negative? So, that's just how they are. Not a big deal that you need to concern yourself with, when it has to do with their personal life.

You still haven't explained to my how "Negativity" and "Bullying" are the same thing.


Do I want the community to be negative? Let me ask you, is the whole community negative? The answer to both questions is no. One or a few people doesn't make a whole community.


Now, you know what this "negativity" is? Truth. The truth is cold, it hurts, and it's negative. But the truth is the truth.

Negativity is not always a bad thing. in many cases, it's actually good, and gives you a kick in the ass to get you moving.

Ironic how you are trying to keep people from saying and feeling negative things whilst you are saying them.
If this turns into a flame war, whether or not I'm in it, I will get a staff member.

 

So you're against bullying, yet you accuse him of being a problem.
