Ok, Recently I've seen someone get scammed on Skyblock.

So, i wanted to make a thread talking about this new scam I saw as well as older scams
    .
    First Scam: "E"
    What is saw was this:
    B 5.E3

The person who got scammed said out loud (in chat) that it was not 5.3 (as advertised)
    but 5000!

What I think is that the "E3" part adds 3 zeros to the end of the number making 1 into 1000

    So watch out for E's.

    Second Scam: "Double B"
This is what it looks like:
    B10B10

It means 1010 and not 10

Third Scam: "That's not an S"
This is what it looks like:
B1051 (in minecraft it looks almost like B10S1)

S stands for sell. so when people see B1051 and think the 5 is S,
they buy that item for 1051 instead of selling it.

    Fourth Scam: "S."
This is what it looks like:
    S.5

Instead of selling for 5, they sell for .5 or 1/2 a dollar.

    Last Scam: "Backwards Sign"

It's self-explanatory. The scammer puts a sign on the chest backwards so you can't see it.
Then he/she claims it is does something else. (this is how mystery boxes work)

    Thanks,

    JoshnNathan

Note: this is not a report, it is an alert meant to inform you.
Also, the names I give these scams are my idea and not official names.

    @LaColeman
    First: I don't have a screenshot
Second: I told the person who was scammed to report it.
    Third: She reported it
Fourth: This is not a report thread

Great job. This can help newbies to the shop plugin understand how scams work and how to prevent them.

That's why we need an automatic message for the forums. Since, I asked people in Skyblock2 to take pictures when they get scammed. Sometimes they sent me the pictures and I report for them. The message has been suggested. I'm just waiting until it gets accepted. (or denied.) Oh well. Still, this thread is going to be helpful for others.

I've seen scams come and go. *Not replying to the last messages this is me telling about some scams*
    For example this scam:
    Randomname: Don't do /pay randomname -1000 I'm losing money!
This one comes rarely now but it still counts as scamming. You'll pay him 1k.
Scamtraps. I've seen pistons, fences, trapdoors and just houses. (For examples, stalk my account and search for posts about reports.)

I rarely see killers in Skyblock now but what I mostly see is auctionscammers, and lotteries (Not sure if considered scamming.)
Auctionscammers: Most ways to prevent getting scammed in auctions is asking for the person to make a shopchest, BUT don't bring stuff to his island. Just an empty inventory. You can also ask the person to pay or throw first.
Lotteries: Not much information. You pay him, he clicks a button and a cobblestone shoots out. You don't know if it's just cobblestone in there or if it has more items.
