A theory

I just thought of something. a theory maybe, idk.
The liking system in a way, is sort of like Rep on the old forums.
except you can do it more than once and you can't dislike something.
Just think about it for a little bit. Liking = Rep

 

I'd say the follow system is like the rep system. You can only do it once and you can remove it :L

 

Yeah I guess the following system is more like that
hm.
except most people don't obsess over their likes/followers though

 

Likes are more like thanks on the old forums
Nothing will ever be the same as rep. Followers are close, but it just doesn't provide the same satisfaction as getting a new rep
