yeah I am a little stuck in my game

I got a male braixen with magician
and a femail braixen with blaze

I have bread about 200 eggs and all of them have blaze

is it the femail that passes down the ability because I am confused

a fairy type is a type that resists dragon types

like ground resists electric

 

Magician is a hidden ability, therefore it is much more rare to get, even if it is female. Although you are correct, when breeding, the offspring will result in *Normally* the mother's ability.

 

Maybe try breeding it with a ditto?

 

When bread with the ditto, it takes the ability of the pokemon you are trying to breed. For example:

Male Scizor with the ability Technician.
Ditto.

The result will be a (Insert gender) Scyther with either the ability Technician or Swarm, since when breeding with a ditto, there is no telling what the ability will be.

However, if for example:

Male Scizor with the ability Technician.
Female Scizor with the ability Swarm.

There is about a 60% chance that that ability will be swarm, since the mother is what normally passes down the ability.

and breeding with dito takes FOREVER!!

 

Although ditto breeding can result in a more favorable nature, and a better chance of shiny if doing the Masuda Method.

I agree here; Ditto breeding does seem to take longer, but my shiny Buneary was born with the nature I wanted-Hasty- and the wait was worth it.
If you want a better nature I'd suggest Ditto breeding but if you aren't patient, I would suggest otherwise.
The ability is definitely hard, though, to get right. I wanted a shiny Buneary with a hidden ability but sadly didn't get the hidden ability. :c
