A J&H Forum Guide (for newbies)

Here is a list of what I think newbies should and should NOT do during their first few days/weeks in the forums.

Should Do:
1. Get to know LOTS of people.
2. Get active.
3. Make new forum friends.
4. Read random threads to know what we mostly do at the forums and what to do.
5. Think creatively to get likes.
6. Make an introduction of yourself.
7. Get an avatar.
8. HAVE FUN (important!)
9. Follow friends.
10. Leave likes.
11. Build up your SWEEEEEG.

Should NOT Do:
1. Bump old threads.
2. Make lots of random threads.
3. Being anti-forum-social.
4. Hate.
5. Not being aware of forum rules.
6. Mess around and annoy @Shadow_Riolu (or he'll take away your soul).
7. Bother staff members about yourself too much.

Note: Newbies means new people, NOT NOOBS. Also this is a WIP.

 

If everyone followed this guide, you do know J&H would still be lacking staff members

Well i just think its not a rly a good start. Cuz then not much people would know you yet and have less support? Idk of that matters but meh. Its a work in progress ^_^

Well I mean not having a lot of comments on an app doesn't really matter...
considering the people who comment on it aren't making the decision of you being accepted or not.

Umm...what I do is I just go read forums. Some will have posts like don't bump threads, don't double post, etc.

 

That's my problem I don't know what bumping is

 

bumping means replying to a thread that hasn't been replied to for at least 1-2 weeks or a month.

Since the people on the forums just join to make a staff app, it is mostly denied.

 

Besides,Dao said himself that anyone who makes only staff applications are instantly denied either way.
