1. Don't spam click your sword, adding a short delay to clicking actually makes more clicks hit the opponent than if you did spam click. 2. Do NOT be extremely wary of your back, especially in OITC. Getting shot in the back kills you, but constantly checking back cuts your focus of what you see. You are seeing in 3 DIRECTIONS. The back covers 1 DIRECTION. This also cuts your sprint too. When you hear noise, that's when you check the back. 3. Running is cowardly, but effective. It is quite common that they will meet another opponent giving you oppurtunity to recharge. 4. Don't think dying using these tips should make you stop using them. You can't get a 20 - 0 in every match, you know.
1. Spam clicking the sword actually let's you hit the opponent faster than he hits you, which in most cases knocks the opponent back before they have a chance to attack. 2. I agree, just keep moving around and you won't get hit anyways. Usually, after I hit a person I automatically swing around in case someone is there, only because I just stopped and attacked, chances are someone is there trying to snipe me. 3. I strongly disagree. Running is cowardly, you waste more time running than you could have used to just respawn and get more kills.
Actually, the sword has a limit per click it can hit. It hits the swords in random intervals with slight delays, but making the most use of that tiny delay actually makes you hit a bit faster. If you want video proof, I'll show you :p. And number 3 is a personal opinion sort of, but for a last resort it works well for me.
