Would you rather Nintendo shut down and Wii U wi-fi removed too? It wasn't worth it when they don't make money off of it anymore.

The servers they were hosting were using severely outdated technology, servers were slow and unstable. They did it because they were losing a big sum of money on it. Wouldn't any company do something as such?

They shut down the WiFi for DS and Wii on May the 20 because they're outdated, and the 3DS and the WiiU replaced them.

Nintendo is forcing people to buy their products, just to play online.

Because the consoles those games run on don't use hugely outdated online technologies, they still work fine and make their money's worth.
Nintendo's not forcing anyone to buy their products.

Yes. They're forcing them to buy their new products if they want to play online.

No, they're not. You cannot buy anything to play online on the games associated with the servers that they shut down. Therefore they're not forcing you to buy anything. It's not like they're saying "Want to play Mario Kart Wii online? Buy a Wii U!", you cannot, at all, play it online.

You'd call this a flame war? We're merely arguing about something, just us two. Surely a flame war is on much bigger scale.
We can continue this via personal messaging, if you so desire to.

For both Wii and DS, the internet servers have been shut down. They MOST LIKELY want to boost Wii U and 3Ds/2Ds sales by shutting down wifi for older consoles.

As I have said before plenty of times on this thread, that's not at all their intention.
You should read the posts in a thread before responding to it yourself.

Nintendo is shutting it down for 1 reason, money. They want people to buy the NEW consoles (Wii, 3DS ect) and the games for them so they can get more MONEY. The Wii U was a flop, that's why they shut down the Wii connections, so now we are forced to buy it...
