how do I raise my fps? My fps is 5 even with Optifine!

 

Here is my settings, and I barely ever have lag:
Graphics: Fast
Render Distance: 2
Smooth Lighting: Off
Max Frame rate: Unlimited (Always have this on unlimited.)
3D Anaglyph: Off
View Bobbing: On (Optional)
GUI Scale: Normal
Brightness: Optional (I usually have mine on Bright)
Clouds: Off (This helps ALOT if its off.)
Particles: Minimal
Server Textures: Off
Full screen: Off
Use VSync: Off
Mipmap Levels: Off (Turning this off helped a lot with lag.)
Anisotropic Filtering: OFF

Honestly, I do not know what Mipmap levels are, but I turned them off anyway. It helped a lot to decrease lag and increase my FPS.
I hope this helped! With these settings, I usually get 30-90 fps. I'm also playing on a good laptop, this isn't my laptop, but, my laptop usually gets around 15-35 FPS. (Good I guess, for the laptop, I usually get around 5-10 without those settings)
