Even then, they got on the topic of "Tape the mouth shut if you don't have anything nice to say. I don't need lectures."
and just plain fighting about posts.

By all means, guys, let's refrain from fighting. Forgive and forget as people say.

If he donated and began breaking the rules even after multiple bans, it's his fault he doesn't know how to read. If his parents think J&H scammed them for perma banning their son after they donated $100,

In the end, it's J&H's decision, not ours

Frankly, this is the right place. This is a discussion thread about whether donors should be banned permanently after breaking the same rule over 10 times.

Just so you guys know... I don't think you should be discussing this topic here.
Flare and Pyro both got banned after openly posting about it, making a mistake in doing so.
So I really don't think you should talk about it or giving opinions on the issue...
    Just saying...

I think I am the only one that thinks z0rk donated to advertize and bypass all bans...

Give it some thought. He is one of those people who has a lot of time and money on his hands, and probably has big dreams for a big server, which he will then use to ask for more donations and gain more. Because he has found a way to make money from this idea of his, he will do anything, even break server rules and donate/pay tons to advertize. Think of it as a black market.

By definition, all players are treated as equal, and all players should follow the same exact rules, and privileges are not given to any player because he donated.
You were not obligated to donate. You donated in free will to help the server, and we thank whoever did so a lot. But by donating you are supporting the server, and therefore, its rules. When you are breaking the rules you are disrespecting the server, something you helped maintain. So from that point of view, you would be in contradiction to yourself. Going against something you support.
If you donated you should not only NOT break the rules, but you should, most of all, be an example for others.

And following your example: 'donating is giving money for a good cause like charity'
When you donate to charity you don't get anything in exchange.
When you donate for the server, you do, you are promised a selected group of perks which gets delivered to you ASAP.
You are not promised immunity towards rule breaking.
You are not better than any other player on the server just because you donated, everybody on the server are equal and shall be treated as equal.

    Have a good day!
    /c

They ban them because this is how it works.

    you donate $10
    you refund.
it costs them $10 + some handling fees.

    J&H actually lose money.
