I wouldn't. However, people who apparently act like Barbarians, kill animals to survive. It's the simple theory known as "The Life Cycle," "The Food Web," etc. :D

 

People who just go "i don't eat animals why would i torture a pig he has his own life" are confusing.

It's a pig. You kill a pig, it gives you meat. You eat the meat, it gives you energy.
But according to the vegetarians and vegans, nooooo that's completely wrong.

Who cares if you're eating a dead animal carcass? The cavemen ate it to survive, humans evolved to still love it. We're scientifically programmed to like meat. When was the last time a cow did something good for you besides provide meat and leather?

When people say things like this, it makes me feel guilty for being a human. Humans are slowly ruining the world. They are cutting down trees for roads, they are killing animals for "food" and for fun, and are polluting the world with smoke and what-not. What good did humans do to the world?

Bacon is made from pork belly. That is the bottom fat of the pig, it is expensive and considered a delicacy.

A human corpse is made from a dead human. That is a dead human body, someone will probably vomit.

If these animals are so innocent, then why are certain cuts of meat so expensive in the world?

Humans have evolved to eat meat...

The first humans ate meat to survive since vegetables were not energizing enough. If we only ate vegetables in the beginning of our evolution, we would be where giraffes are today. We eat meat to stay on top of the food chain, how do you think sharks and lions survive?

The rest of the animals in the world eat meat without a care, and they're perfectly fine.

Without meat, we wouldn't be where we are today.

It makes me feel guilty to be a human when people say things like this.

1. People don't cut down trees for roads... roads are made of rocks and tar... Deforestation is a real problem, I agree with that, but we're doing a lot better with replanting wood.

2. Killing animals is what we have evolved to do. If the first humans didn't eat meat, like I said above, we would be dead. All the lions and sharks would've eaten us by now. It's not like anyone is going to kill a dog and feed it to you. Dogs and cats are domesticated pets, pigs and cows have been used for essentially all of human history as a food source. Vegetarianism is actually relatively new, and it's just because of the hippies trying to "save the world."

3. We are slowly polluting the world with smoke, we all know that. But most people don't actually care, which is the problem. Your parents probably still have gas-powered car, and have a house powered by gas. The reason I like Tesla cars so much is because they're electric. They do save the environment. While I like gas-powered supercars as much as the next car enthusiast, there's plenty of electric cars that are just as good: McLaren P1, Tesla Model S, LaFerrari, etc.

Deforestation and pollution have nothing to do with meat.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with eating and killing animals for food.
Our ancient ancestors would've stayed away from meat if it was wrong for humanity, but it's been over a million years since the ape-humans started eating the stuff, and we would've stopped along the way if it was wrong.

What has a pig ever done for you? Has a cow ever said anything nice to you? Has a chicken ever given you a hug? Has a turkey ever given you a present?
No.
No.
No.
And no.

If we didn't kill animals for meat, the entire world would be overpopulated with animals. We wouldn't be living in perfect harmony with all the animals, we would be getting eaten by the hundreds every day, have nowhere to live, and the whole world would smell like poop. In the 1900s, deer almost went extinct because of people hunting them. Now they still exist, and people get in car crashes every day because of stupid deer running in front of cars.

 

You just offended me and a lot of other people with that post.
