[Factions] /spawner - "to bug or not to bug"

Yesterday, myself and other faction members we able to do /spawner. Today I can't. I saw that the /spawner issue on Skyblock was being addressed, is this related? Or is it intended to not let a spawner be changed in factions. BTW, I am a Herobrine rank if that matters.

I thought I was clear, but I will be more clear. Last weekend (which was my first time playing factions), my faction found a spawner and we were able to use /spawner on it to change the type. Come Monday, we are no longer able to do this. I assumed it was a bug that was fixed and I was trying to confirm that. Or if it should be working and that is the bug. I am the highest J&H ranking of my faction (Herobrine) and it doesn't work for me. Last weekend it worked for me and others in my faction who don't have Herobrine rank. If it matters, the spawner is on claimed land for our faction. There error message states "you do not have access to this command".

maybe a bug or an issue. but best guess is that they removed /spawner since someone could secretly raid someone else by claiming another's land and soon changing the spawner to zombies which could kill the faction members until they don't have enough power to keep their land. i believe this is essentials but i'm not 100% sure about it.

 

Right, that is what I suspect "not a bug". Just looking for confirmation since it was there one day and gone the next.
