having trouble sleeping...again

    If any of you remember my thread on the old forums where i was talking about trouble sleeping? Well its back again, i can barely sleep anymore and this week ive only been getting about 4 to 5 hours of sleep. I keep waking up in the middle of the night and toss and turn trying to fall asleep, but i just cant. My mind keeps racing all night to the point where i cant fall asleep, thoughts just come flooding in everytime i wake up. Its like i wake up and my brain says" oh your awake eh? Well lets think about crap for 4 hours!" After that its nothing but chaos and annoyance at night its been going on all week. And im starting to get annoyed by it. Do yiu guys know any good sleep remedies i can try? Thanks guys i really appreciate it. :)

    I'm having the same problem >.>

    I can give you some tips but I'm not sure if it can affect you like it affects me:

    1. try lay on your back and focus on your breathing.
    2. take sleeping pills

    That's what I do x3

    I still have the same problem as before when you made that thread. o-o

    Drink really warm tea.. that makes people drowsy. But if you drink cold tea you're going to be very active

    I watch a film on my TV so my eyes get tired and then I sleep.

    Listen to relaxing sounds. (Youtube is full of them) Or watch asmr videos. I know those are weird but they make me sleep everytime.

    If you can't sleep, don't force yourself too. It just strains yourself even more. I know the goal is to try and get more sleep, but what I do is usually read a boring book until I fall asleep, or maybe just talk to my friends at 4 AM in the morning until I feel like sleeping.

    Okay, gonna get serious now.

    Do not drink Coke (Coca Cola) before you go to sleep, since I tried this I slept after 30 minutes.

    I've allways had sleeping probs here some tip I use

    Drink warm milk
    Take a warm bath
    Listen to music quietly
    Draw
    Read


    Or just do calming stuff idk what calms u maby make comics or watch a little tv play mc idk
    Just don't watch anything scary or sad or anything that will make u think like if u watch a documentry about animal cruelty that's will make u think about lots off stuff so try to ado vid that stuff before bed or don't play and games that are addicting and require thinking if u don't understand try to avoid games like find the key to escape the room cause all night u will think "is the key under the bed?!" So u get the idea I know all this by experience and btw if u wanna solve a problem try to make startgys ok now I'm just rambling so yea I hope I'm helping u

    MY WAYS

    1. Dont use any light sources before bed, such as b ut not limited to, bright lights, video games, browsing the web, phones (about an hour-30mins before)
    2. Dim the lights about 2 hours before bed

    I have this same problem and I still do.

    I just normally rest my eyes and just act like I'm at my sister's made up island, Cookie County.
    Everything happy, ice cream snow.
    Think happy thoughts. :D

    Otherwise, I once read during the night and drifted off sleeping... I ended up sleeping on the book. My head on the book...

    Right now I just go to bed whenever I feel like it and wake up when my alarm clock goes off.

    I actually used to have the same problem...
    Here's a tip, which may sound weird, but I don't care.
    If you have a smartphone, and you like YouTube or Phone games, take your phone. Play/Watch stuff until you get really tired. Do it every night and eventually you will sleep better.
    Works perfectly for me :D

    No, that would be the OPPOSITE. Flashing Lights/ Loud Music will make you wake up not sleep

    It usually takes me a while to get to sleep, unless im on drugsI take gravol. I get a lot of nausea for some reason, it may be the fact that i'm lactose and tolerente, but I usually don't sleep well unless I take something that makes me tired. I do not recommend sleep pills, you can get addicted. But when you sleep don't think "ugh im gonna wake up through the night again" think positive thoughts. Think about something like winning an award, picture whats happening in your mind, and you will usually fall asleep and dream about that. You will continue dreaming all night about different dreams, but most you will not remember. Just think positive, I'm not a doctor but if this continues I think you should see a doctor. Not sleeping affects your mood, grades, activity (sports), etc.

    Easy. Just read a couple creepypastas. After that you'll be able to fall asleep immediately!

    It will keep you up. But after a few times, you will forget about "Thinking", and you will be able to sleep faster.
