    Hello,

This is one of my suggestions to introduce two new games to the server. Both of them were chosen because of their simplicity as well as the ability to enjoy them solo or co-op.

This thread is strongly related to others I have made today and are meant to compliment and reinforce one another.

    The Dropper

The ItsJerryAndHarry YouTube channel has greatly put this gamemode in the spotlight in the past, but never integrated the game in to their own server. Even today plenty will remember them for playing the Dropper.

I would say 'better late than never'. There is a significant amount of potential in this gamemode since it expands player options within the server as well allow for community created maps to reinforce it.

    Getting Over It

A difficult gamemode inspired by Getting Over It By Bennett Foddy, Only Up and Jump King.

With this gamemode I envision a humongous starting island where you have to make your way up to the very top in order to win.
To consider it parkour would not be quite right. To bring the fullest out of a gamemode like this you would want to implement whatever you can; water, vines, lava, fences, slabs, cobwebs, redstone contraptions, the jump pads from the lobby and anything else that may come to mind.

There would be some safezones, but those are not to be mistaken with savepoints. They would be designed to support most of the upcoming falls that may happen, but they may very well let you down in the future, and environmental damage such as lava or falling would likely be disabled.

This is a gamemode where the potential lies mainly behind its builder. The more creative you are, the greater the game you are able to create. It is not limited to just one map either, but these games are supposed to be massive.

I consider the addition of new gamemodes to be essential in order to take steps forward. These are two gamemodes I could think of which carry a lot of potential, they are simplistic and solo + co-op friendly.

You can find the related threads of mine linked down below, those might have better explainations regarding my thought process.

    Thanks for reading.

Although, getting over it, sounds like a fun minigame. If there was enough of a playerbase playing, it certainly would be fun. ;D
