Skyblock Season 3

Update:
If you are using collector beacons this change will impact you (in a good way).

Pumpkin and Melon farms are still our largest source of lag on skyblock. To improve that, we have made a change to collectors that makes it look like your pumpkins or melons are not growing (they are, don't worry, it's purely visual). This also removed the need for Observers, redstone and pistons on pumpkin farms that use collectors, so to make the most money, we strongly encourage the use of collectors.

This has given a significant performance increase on pumpkin farms that are using collectors, so everyone that converted over - we appreciate you.

If your pumpkins have a beacon but are still growing it is because the pumpkins are not in the same chunk as the beacon. If you can make adjustments for this, it would help greatly

Edit for clarity:
If you have a pumpkin or melon planted and watered to grow, a collector will harvest it automatically. You do not need an observer, redstone or piston.

That means you can have a bigger farm that is easier to make and produces more money faster by using collectors. Your island will lag less (fps lag) and the server will lag less (better TPS means faster pumpkin and melon growth so even more money faster).

Another skyblock update (as seen on #news in discord)

Piglins in overworld don't last long and become zombie pigmen after a short period. Hoglins aren't allowed to spawn in the overworld without being recoded completely. There are only 2700 tropical fish despite mc wiki saying there are 3.5k and we only had 1 of them and there are 5 parrots but we only had 1.

Okay.. so.. mob spawn update (plus a little more):

• + The Nether Donor Island now spawns Blazes and Zombie Pigmen.
• + Blazes no longer spawn in the nether, but zombie pigmen still do.
• + We increased the non-pigmen spawn rate in the nether.
• + Piglin and Hoglin have been added to the nether world spawns.
• + Support for all 5 parrots has been added to the jungle island.
• + Support for all 2700 Tropical Fish has been added to Coral Island.
• + Support for capture eggs to catch 1 mob at a time was silently added a couple days ago, it no longer catches whole stack and gets glitchy.
• + Striders were forgotten about and as a result have been added to Drop Parties.
• + Bats were intentionally left out, but we added them to drop parties too.
• + Cake and Mending book were removed from drop parties (since they aren't needed long-term).
• + You either need to be a member of an island or coop to the island to use a home set on an island. You can no longer set homes to bypass island bans or bother people with abuse of your homes.
