no, this is not an april fools situation. ya boy got a covid positive test result today and as a result i am isolated for the next 10 (!) days. i think its a false positive because my roommate and best friend, who i spend tons of time with, was tested the same day and it was neg. we were both randomly selected by the university for tests. anyway, im completely asymptomatic, in fact i went for a 2 mile run this morning and smoked a little somthin somthin before i got the email and i felt fantastic so i was pretty stunned by it. i also have been pretty smart about limiting possible exposure so i rlly dont know how this happened.

im getting another test on monday and tuesday to hopefully confirm its a false positive because then i can leave earlier, i want two negatives to be safe.

in the meantime, shoot me with stuff i should watch. i have a long list already but i have a feeling i'll get through it pretty fast. one thing ive always wanted to try was anime but never got around to it. it can be anything rlly tho. this is a good time in general to study films and tv series i might not watch normally to improve my craft.

got a little offtopic, did any of you have the rona? do any of you now? what were your experiences?

I have not had covid (that I know of, at-least. Never have been properly tested this whole year, but I've been as healthy as I could be since the pandemic started) but I do know some friends who have relatives who got it

    Some shows...
    -Avatar: The Last Airbender
    -The Flash
    -Green Arrow
    -New Girl
    -Star Wars: The Clone Wars
    -Star Wars Rebels

I hope it's a false negative, as you've said. Best wishes, Ben <3

my friend's sister got covid, and he didn't get it after being in the house doing normal things for 2 weeks. it's not common, but it happens. but I wish the best of luck :)

I think so, I didn't have a test but when I came back from manhatten I had a bad cough and temperature. I had developed symptoms after going to MSG so idk. Although it was very cold there so it could be a cold I don't know. As weird as it sounds I do hope it was covid so I developed immunity. My family also developed it and my mum (who tends to get illness really badly) had to ring the emergency hotline.

    Best wishes Ben :)

My niece had it, but other than that I've never met someone who's has/had it.
I don't think it's a hoax but I can see why some people think it is, in my circle of family and friends it's only struck once.

And for your watch list I recommend Star butterfly vs the forces of evil.

I decided a long time ago that no one knows wtf they're talking about when it comes to the science of the virus. I just follow the rules and let everything else run its course. Control what you can control, y'know?

The early stages of the virus I couldn't take anything on it serious, now I feel like they're coming with much better and trust worthy results.
I just make sure I don't get it or if I do I keep the spread minimal and other than that I keep on livin baby

    Exactly

I just play their game man, even if it's bs, the people in charge think it's real and the path of least resistance is just going along with it

I'm on like day 5 of still no symptoms

i havent had it but i have been tested 4 times bc of surgery protocol and its not a great feeling. my grandma however works on the COVID floor at the hospital she works at and lately there has been a huge influx in cases and she says that she has seen people pass n its really sad. if i were to get the virus i would probably have a severe cast of it due to my immune system so it scares me a bit. i was hospitalized the entire month of june and even with just one covid case on the floor(bc no room on the actual covid floor) i was on i still was worried, thankfully i have been as careful as possible and listening to doctors.
    as for shows to watch,
    - succession
    - barry
    - silicon valley
    - westworld
    - watchmen
    - psych
    - superstore
    - under the dome
    - fargo
    -when they see us
good luck ben! you'll get through this.

Being hospitalized for an entire month is scary stuff... glad you seem to be ok. I'm naturally curious but please don't feel an obligation to share details

    youre welcome!! :)
i had a surgery/procedure done because of my chronic illness and was in so much pain/more sick than usual because of it so the doctor decided i should stay in the hospital. it was scary but thankfully i stayed in the hospital where my grandma works.

Covid caught me too. It was not a very difficult process for me.
The Flash and Green Arrow is total shit, the rest is so good. I'm against these two series because they are just an insult to comic books.

    My suggestions:
    -Fargo
    -Memento
    -Shutter Island
    -Salo (sadistic and disturbing)
    -Prometheus
    -Alien Covenant
    -Firefly
    -Dogville
    -Vivarium
    -Parasite
    -Battle Royale
    -11.22.63
    -Unbreakable
    -Split
    -Glass
    and more...
I have one more suggestion, don't be biased, RuPaul's Drag Race is also very good :V

Also I hope you get over this disease without any problems.
