I am a man, so my opinion deservedly matters less . I don't get pregnant. I don't go through the pain, inconvenience, and possible death (women can die during birth). It is a woman's body and her decision. A fetus isn't 0 years old yet, so why does it get priority over what the mother wants. Can you murder something that doesn't have a birth certificate? Why should a mother have to risk her life to give birth to a baby she doesn't want?

It's not a woman's fault they are pregnant. It's equally on the man, but men can run away (not everyone pays child support).

People may say it's only okay for rape, so does someone have to prove they were raped for it to happen? What is good enough proof? The person has to relive their terrible experience to prove it.

Not everyone pays the consequences. Men can just dip, and even paying child support is nothing compared to the work a mother has to do.

What if they don't know harm will be done until it happens?

Yes, a woman does because it's growing in her. She experiences all the quality of life changes. A man should have input but not the final say.

Objectively speaking it’s 100% of her cells. 50% of each parents’ genes but the cells all originate from the single egg cell. A cell or a clump of cells is not any more conscious or intelligent than a plant

 

Speaking as a female, and working in a and e, (emergency depattment in a hospital) i have seen women who are pregnant come in crying because their husband will devorce them if they get rid of the baby. I have seen women who are fine and good waiting for a scan suddenly get hot and have cramping and hemeraging, which in that instant killed both mother and child. Yes its the mans dna and he gets a say. But if she is really against it then no. Forcing someone to do anything against their personal wishes or beliefs, is abuse. Idc how you word it, or how you justify it. Its abuse. So are you pro abuse? I assume so, coz its that or be a hupocrit, and since you have dug yourself a grave already, ill give you the shovel and all. If we are gonna get historic, lets do it. In 1870, women who got pregnant who were not married, were not allowed to have an abortion, coz only the father or a husband could authorise it (statistic times) over 40% of those women committed suicide (are you pro this?) Due to resources and the fact these women were shunned away into nunnarys, very few got into hospitals so around 60% of births killed the mother. Nearly half of all this kids that survived had some form of deformity, now this was because when the women went into labour they were left alone in a dark room, labour, ive seen a labour last for not quite 78 hours, she passed out but we had to wake her, can you imagine that? For the mens out there, imagine squeezing a watermelon out of ur bum hole at 1milliemeter a minuet. That sounds fun dont it! A women not wanting to do that, is just as okay as you not wanting to play with watermelons. When a women get pregnant, she can be scared, alone, confused, excited these emotions running through her mind, she doubts herself, so making her feel like trash about wanting to abort, if anything will make her wanna do it more because you've made her feel worthless and trash and like she cannot be a mother. And thats just emotion, i mean practically kids are SO DAMN EXPENSIZE, clothes, feeding, bathing, education, activities, i mean some women are made to feel like crap because they cant breast feed. You wanna breast feed? You go for it girl im with you! But around 20% of women dont have the genetic code to make breast milk, is this their fault? Or by your logic should we let "gods will and nature takes its course" and let the baby die of starvation? Or are you gonna keep digging ur gave to not look like a hippocrit. Also traditonally, but not always, the woman stays home, that means (say she is 30 for example) she has wasted 15 years of hard work and studying (6-21 years old) and you expect her to give that up, some people work so hard for things and for the first few years she will have to stay home, then maybe she can go part time, but not a lot of jobs offer that. So as you can clearly see having a baby is like a sacrifice, you sacrifice your; body, your mind, your life, your career, your free time and any plans you have made. Sometimes a baby is planned and that lovely but most of the time its an oopsie. And there is nothing wrong with an oopsie, if its wanted, and if its not you ask? Then it either is given up, which you have already decided is a shitty move, or its kept and its hated. All that psychological and maybe physical and mental abuse on that poor child! All because someone over here didnt think about conseqences before opening his gob. Can i ask that you shut it? I got some stiches somewhere u can borrow. And as for the rape comment? Im guessing you have never spoken to a women or seen the news, the stats? Well women between 11-30 that get raped, Yea thats right i said 11! 70% suicide risk and over 40% will keep trying. So an 11 year old girl? Wearing a frozen top playing with a basketball in the garden? Thats her fault is it? Well i had a girl come into a and e once. That was her, she was playing basketball on the side of the road with some mates and she got grabbed, when i got her, well ill spare you most of it. But i cried, she was black and blue all over, cuts, ground in mud and you could see the tear stains on her face, she has strained her larnyix from the screaming. Would you really make an 11 year old girl keep a rape baby? Coz thats what it comes down to. And anyone who says yes to that, is the lowest form of human.

 

I'd consider myself Pro-Choice, because I think until the baby is like, on it's way out, it hasn't actually formed an identity yet. Now, if the baby was out, and they murdered it, I would not be happy. If you're aborting, it tends to be a mass of cells that isn't really much to fight over. In the end, the most harm comes to the mother who has to carry this child, so I think I should be her choice.

 

I think the thread should close on this comment, because if anyone disagrees with what Icy said, you're not worth anyone's time or space, and can honestly disappear, to not make a meaner comment.
