Unpopular Video Game Opinions

Inspired by the unpopular movie opinions thread

I'm not a huge fan of counter strike

 

Call Of Duty Modern Warefare 3 is better than Modern Warefare 2.

 

MMO and MMORPG games are incredibly boring to watch and are overrated.

Games like Overwatch, Destiny, LOL, etc. have added too much shit and is incredibly difficult to watch and play.

 

Borderlands is incredibly boring and uninspired, even after playing with three friends. I imagine the third game will struggle to maintain spotlight. Most of 2's hype only generated from a fading 'right place / right time' appeal.

Dark Souls 2 is a fantastic game, only disrupted by poor sound design and an excessive focus on artificial difficulty. It has miles better areas (dare i say boss fights too) than Dark Souls 3. Also, best menus/inventory management in entire series. Not gonna mention the ridiculous builds + PvP.

Grand Theft Auto V is probably Rockstar's worst 3D game, a complete technical downgrade from everything prior. Even RDR1 aged better than it.

Hollow Knight is an artistic masterpiece, possibly best game of the 2010s. Bloodstained, in comparison, sucks.

 

I really don’t enjoy CS:GO

 

CSGO is a game I got and regretted it. Like this if you agree!

 

As much as I can love the game, Super Mario 64 is the weakest 3D Mario game casually, coming below even 64DS and 3D World/Land.
