How about a deal with some YouTubers? If some famous YouTubers start a series on this server (Skyblock, Faction, Herobrine Chamber, etc.), the Server will grow again
i literally just said in my post that people need to start looking at the bigger picture, and now you're giving suggestions how to grow the server lol.. do you have any idea how much it costs to sponsor a youtuber? i'm not willing to pay thousands of dollars to potentially make a return on investment months later
Lol it seems like you frequently get exasperated at kids for not understanding the logistics of running a minecraft server. Theyre just trying to help, i promise XD

I think I joined in June of 2013? I can't remember. I know that's when my original skyblock island was made, but I don't remember if I played anything else before that or not. This was the first server I've ever joined and the one I still play on today. So many friend / memories have come and gone. It's sad that it's slowly dying, but that happens. I just hope you release the skyblock world downloads if the server eventually does shut down.
Though many say the server is dead or dying I don’t think it really matters at this point. So many have had hundreds of amazing memories throughout the 7 years. The fact of the matter is everything dies at some point but at least when it was a thriving server everyone cherished every moment of it. (Btw I’m not saying the server is completely dead if that’s what it sounds like here... I’m merely pointing out the fact that it will never be what it once was.)
7 years is a long time. The server has had a pretty good run. I know you guys worked very hard over these years, especially at its peak. From having to work long hours on coding, talking to players’ mums and dads through email, to sorting out drama threads etc etc. People don’t realise how much effort and patience it took for you guys to run this server. I should also thank the staff members who have contributed greatly over the years to the server. Having been one once, I understand the roller coaster it could be, especially during those busy years - having to sort out many problems at once. To do any kind of work for no monetary gain is honourable. I think any good server is one where the community has many fond memories of it. I got to meet some pretty cool people and was exposed to cultures from all over the globe. A lot of my knowledge of life outside of Australia has come from here and I’m so grateful, even though I don’t play anymore. Jerry and Harry, I do hope I can stay in contact with you guys in the future and hear what you’re up to. I haven’t had a conversation with you guys in so long! Don’t hesitate to close the server if it becomes a liability - these kids will grow up one day and understand! <3
