What makes you still play Minecraft?

Since Minecraft has lost a lot of popularity these days because there are other games and people have matured so what makes you still play Minecraft and stick with this server? For me it is for nostalgia and memories, A lot of lifetime friends made here which still makes me attached to this server and game.

 

i don't play minecraft very often, and when i do, i come on for about 30 seconds to see if any of my friends are on and then dip

 

Nostalgiac reasons, my commitment here, and when I'm super bored

 

if i'm being honest, it's because my ping is shit. if i had good ping i'd be long gone

I have a Minecraft server that I play on with my friends. I also continue to play to see the new updates, nostalgia, and etc. I really miss Minecraft tbh :(

 

Yeah before Microsoft bought it. It was an amazing game.

Absolutely nothing. I literally get on the server to see if there's a single soul I know online. Or when I have nothing else to do.

 

I only play Minecraft when I met new friends or somehow connect with old ones.

 

I feel like after reading all these responses, I can deduce that people play minecraft for-

1) Connecting with old friends and making new friends.
2) To fight boredom

But you inferiorities are missing the main reason-
