so, "13 Reasons Why" season 2 came out yesterday. have you gotten started it, or will you start it? do you like the show or not support it at all? the first season actually hit really close to home, because a friend of mine actually tried to hurt themselves and without knowing you honestly feel really helpless. http://13reasonswhy.info
I like this season more than the first one. I like the secrets that are being revealed and getting a bigger picture of characters. It’s not as depressing though which is great.
i agree. i think they certainly listened to the criticism from the first season received and made sure to incorporate ways to get help for viewers (as a guide) into the show which was pretty clever. it was also genius how they made the new scenes look like they were made similar to season 1, which was so clever. and i also agree and disagree; although it isn't as depressing which is good, sometimes it does feel like a different show but that doesn't matter because it worked quite well. (in my opinion)
idk why people said that the show didn't provide resources for help. at the end of pretty much every episode in s1 there was some resourceful help to anyone hurting. and now its in season 2 as well. either way the show most definitely did more harm than good bc of how graphic it was, but since i dont have really any triggers in it i could watch it. some scenes made me very uncomfortable though. and there were always trigger warnings!! anyways season 1 was better but im almost done with the second season. im scared to see what will happen but yALL can i just say you're stupid if you think tyler is NOT a school shooter ok :). we'll see what will happen no spoilers.
Really enjoyed the first season, but ended up miserably bored by episode 2 of the second season. Does it get more interesting? Worth finishing?
i think you should keep watching. s1 is definitely better but its not so boring to the point where you cant watch it. finishing s2 is good closure from the first season
finished all of season 2 and tbh i really liked it. i prefer season 1 but i didn’t have a problem with season 2 and enjoyed watching it. i’m definitely in need of a season 3 now, but overall, it’s good. ( imo ) currently re-watching s2 again lmao
to be honest - i don't think the show needs a season 3, most of my questions were answered (unlike the first season which left me with plenty of questions) and (obviously i would love another season because i am biased, and a fan of the show) but the only reason Netflix would make another season is because it's the services most popular show and well, it's a good show. and yes, it does get way more interesting; if you were a fan of the first season, you will find out about relationships and unexpected pasts, and the new characters are very interesting (and the end; is very very unexpected)
Watched in 1 night, Amazing season better than the first one. I really enjoyed it. I really can't wait for season 3 because this won't be the end.
I loved the 2nd season. Finished it in a day and a half literally, lol. The story itself doesn't need a season three IMO but I'd still love to see it. There's many questions that are still to be answered. What's going to happen to Tyler? What's gonna happen to bryce's gf (don't know how I missed getting her name) now that she's pregnant? Justin-Alex-Jessica love triangle? Even though Mrs. Baker is moving to New York, that shouldn't rule out a third season imo. Hannah's chapter has been wrapped up, but I feel as if the series still has a lot more to give.
The ending wasn't concrete enough to be the end of 13 reason's why. If they would make a season 3 it would still be interested. I am mostly asking myself what is going to happen with Bryce and Justin-Alex-Jessica.
After finishing season 2 I still agree with my old post. Although the ending is disappointing for some, I believe it’s realistic Spoiler: Spoiler In scenarios of rape, the jury and outsiders like to view the girl as the other perpetrator. It’s particularly harsh when many girls are drugged unconscious so they can’t move or respond to what is happening to them.
It's alright, I mean, I feel like they kind of beat a dead horse but if there is a Season 3, it's rumored we wont be seeing Hannah Baker so the story would be going a new direction and away from Hannah's story, leading to a new conflict in Season 3. I thought it would be the school shooting as the chances of it being possible were pretty bleak in Season 2, and when it was going to happen it was resolved. Spoiler: spoilers Personally, I think if they do decide to use the ending of Season 2 where Clay is holding the shooters weapon, another court sequence is plausible and we may be immersed in more of Tylers life. Anyways, I would just give it a 6.5/10
