It looks disrespectful, but its goddamn true. 2014 - 2015, I’ve seen alot of leaving threads and most of those people who created one were still active, whilst people who don’t publicly announce that they were leaving actually left the entire community without notice. These threads were made to get attention of other members which is currently annoying to see.

Yes, there is a kind of disrespectful aspect of publicly stating it, but pretty much they want people having thoughts of creating threads like these to create one if you are actually leaving for a long time.

I think your message “stop milking” wouldn’t be deleted if you made it a not triggering way of delivering it.

Staff resignations in the otherhand is indeed similar when it comes to attention. Probably because they wouldn’t like to be asked why they resigned multiple times from every single person so why not. I didn’t made a thread like that, but in the present I’m still asked why I resigned as a staff member.

thats absolutely not what they're saying. they're saying that leaving threads are attention seeking threads (which they are) and generalizing the people that never "actually leave". people will actually use that section to leave you know.

yeah, they aren't afraid to express their opinions. but i dont think that a description like that is good at all. if they really had a problem with it, they'd make some kind of rule about it. what does a silly description like that achieve? do keep in mind that they run a business.

false. from what i know, staff creating attention seeking threads has never been a problem, but players creating them are seen as "drama threads" or "leaving threads". i know from personal experiences. so it's only common sense that staff and players can create them, or neither can. so they went with the first option.

make a rule then. yeah, its annoying as shit. ask any of my friends and they'll tell you that i take attention seekers very seriously. but you cant just go announcing it like that. keep in mind that itsjerryandharry is a business. you dont see ceo's announcing that if you're going to leave, leave permanently. that would be disrespectful.
