Hurricane Irma

As you know, about a week ago, a low pressure area formed. Now its the well-known Hurricane Irma.

Hurricane's story:

• Aug 30: A low pressure forms in Africa. It begins to intensify.
• Aug 31: The low becomes a tropical depression. Here it all begins.
• Sept 1: The depression becomes a TS. It recieves the name "Irma". Later it becomes a Category One hurricane
• Sept 2: Irma hits category 3. (Major). Begins to debate between 2 and 3.
• Sept 3: Irma hits Category 4 while it moves trough the islands.
• Sept 4: Irma becomes a Category 5 hurricane. Winds go up to 160 mph
• Sept 5: The hurricane moves trough the caribbean ocean.
• Sept 6: Irma becomes the strongest hurricane in the Atlantic's history. Hits Puerto Rico.
• Sept 7: Hurricane Irma is declared the Strongest Hurricane in History.

Expected track:

Irma is expected to move trough the Caribbean islands until it reaches Cuba. After that, It should take a sharp turn to the north into Florida (Date expected to hit Florida's coast: Sunday September 10th at 1 AM

Everyone made memes about Irma but lots of people have no power, and may not have power for another week.

 

sometimes you have to look at it as a good thing lol. i fucking love blackouts, they're eventful.

 

Yes, a fridgeful of soon-to-spoil foods is a good thing, especially when people may not have the money to reimburse their loss in supplies.

 

ah, shit. forgot about the hurricane part.

 

I evacuated and I came back and everything just felt very post apocalyptic...still does.
