AT2020 or k70 Rapidfire RGB.

    So, I have some money and im wondering what I should get next, Replace my keyboard which is a Cherry mx blue mechanical keyboard to a K70 Rapidfire Rgb or...
    Get an AT2020 for a better mic, The one on my headset is not the best in my opinion, what do yall think?

    If you're going to get the mic, make sure you get the USB version, or you will have to buy an audio interface with it. Also, since it's a condenser mic, it will pick up background sounds easily, so I would not recommend getting it if you have other people in the same room. Also get a pop filter or it'll sound even worse than your headset mic

    Yeah, im aware of the non SLR version and the USB ones, I already have a mic arm plus popfilter from my old blue yeti. My bedroom is also basically a studio with sound foam and no one really enters my room that often so.. Yeah, just wondering on peoples opinions haha

    Unless you actually need such an expensive mic, I'd go for the keyboard. If you're just going to use it while playing games with friends it's overkill, and headset is way more convenient

    If you already have a Blue Yeti, why would you get an AT2020? It's not much of an upgrade, they're both in the same price range

    You don't really need that good of a microphone tbh, even a blue snowball does the job if you're trying to have good quality. I think you should get the keyboard if you have to decide since the only thing you'd be using a mic for is conversing with friends.

    this isnt me trying to make you feel lucky or anything, but from minimal research you have a 100+ dollar keyboard. why bother replacing it lol

    i have always used default keyboards/mouses/monitors since this year. i've decided to treat myself.
    i used the same laptop, same mouse and same keyboard that i bought when i was 9. it's not that hard.
    even now, i bought a keyboard off my stepdad that he wasn't using. cost him 30 dollars.
    i also bought a new mouse that cost 10 dollars. (looks pretty snazzy though)

    all im saying is, don't think that just because you have money, you have to spend it.
