It's not really a good ad, but it's not that offensive. People are just looking for anything to be offended by these days.
Still, it's kinda sad and rude. And I'm not offended by it, I just don't like that they did an ad in this kind of sense.
I don't see the issue here, there are advertisements that are far worst and ''offensive''. This add isn't sad at all, we don't know the kid, we don't know his back story we know nothing. Maybe mc donalds is a big part of their life in the story board, maybe that's because it ended up being a ''haha you eat the same burger'' type of add. It's a shitty add in general, with a mob of buzzfeed subscribers jumping on it. NOW IF YOU WANT A REALLY GOOD SAD ADVERTISEMENT HERE YOU GO. In just one minute there's a fucking 10/10 movie for you. It shows exactly what type of personality the drivers have, it builds up and makes you relate to it. Everyone can relate to this sad commercial, it hits people hard and it makes you think. Finding out that a kid who has nothing in common with his dead father finally has something in common which would be a hamburger - boo hoo so offensive rude sad O wait it's not at all. tl;dr the add is shitty stop giving it the attention it doesn't deserve
