so, the news broke out. XXXTENTACION, pretty well known artist for his songs, like SAD!, Look at me! and many more, has sadly gotten shot by someone who also tried to rob him in his car. What are you guys’ thoughts about this? (Lol felt like making a thread)
His music was meh, but I liked the messages he conveyed through his sound. It’s always sad to see a talent taken away from us so young and in such a terrible way.
Honestly, I am very sad about it. His songs, especially his 17 album, helped me through the hardest time of my life and it sucks that he was killed in such a brutal manner by such a careless bastard. I'm very grateful for his music and although I am an atheist, I hope he is in a better place away from this kind of stuff. RIP.
Rest in piece to one of the most inspirational, caring, unique, and incredible rapper’s that has ever lived. Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy was one of the people that changed my life, helped fight my depression, and stay positive. I am truly heartbroken to hear that someone would do this to such a young caring man that had so much longer of his valuable life to live. I will miss him terribly. His motivational live streams gave me positive messages of hope and that everything was going to be okay. Even if you are not a fan of X and his music I hope you will give a sense of respect toward him and his family.I just hope he’s in a better place watching over all of his beloved and thoughtful fans that truly loved him and his work so much.❤️❤️❤️❤️ REST IN PEACE JAHSEH DWAYNE ONFROY 1-23-1998 to 6-18-2018. You will be missed and we all love you❤️
I never liked his music that much, but it still breaks my heart that he died so young. May he rest in peace.
Was a huge fan of X. One of my idols now long gone. Such a caring and unique individual. It's still mind boggling that out of everyone in the world, X is dead. I've been listening to his music for the longest time and will never forget him. </3
I hate everyone who took a video or photo of him dead. Seems like we live in a generation where likes on social media are more important than someone's life.
Annoying how just as he was on his way to recovering (he was suicidal and/or depressed if not mistaken, could be wrong), his life got robbed. Despite what he may have done in the past, I don't believe that he deserved a cold and unexpected death. May he rest in peace
He might've done shit in the past, but he was recovering and actually wanting to help people and make their lives better. The killer(s) didn't just rob him of his life, but possibly others that they don't even know about. I wasn't ever really a fan of his music, but I respected what he was doing and it's terrible what happened to him. Also, people need to stop posting and creating these disrespectful memes about his death, they aren't funny and makes whoever sends them look like a dick. I don't care if you have a "dark" sense of humor, but come the fuck on it hasn't even been 24 hours yet (not that it makes it okay at all).
personally wasn't a fan of his music but sucks that he died. no one /deserves/ to die. sympathy for his family/friends + the victims of his abuse. i think that he deserved more time in prison for the things he did. i do not think people need to try to sympathize and humanize him for the horrible stuff he did because that is what folks are doing. we need to take in account the feelings and well being of his victims. his past actions are not controversial, they're wrong. r**e and assault are wrong, no argument. maybe that's just my perspective, but more power to the fans I guess. 'good' on him for trying to get better but that means nothing to the victims. and let me be clear, i mean no disrespect. sorry.
I loved him and his music. (spoiler from my custom title "queen of the dead") When I found out he was shot it felt like someone shot my father. What pisses me off? Is the fact if the idiots there wasn't so addicted to snapchatting shit, he could be alive. If people wouldn't of snapchatted that but called the cops sooner, he wouldn't of bled out. He would be alive, living. He would be pursuing his dreams. Like he said in his final words video. and i swear to fucking god if you guys say like "he desrved to die because he abused his girlfriend" those was false accustions and was never confirmed. anyone who says he deserves to die should be right up there with him. he was inspiring people, in his last words he predicted he was gonna get shot, but he also said "i hope i at least made over 5 million kids happy and able to pursue their dreams." or something along the lines of that. he was going places and changing. but he was killing before he could even change it at all. i really hope whoever killed him gets locked up forever.
he was 20 years old, and although he wasn’t a perfect person, no one EVER deserves to die that young. he had his wrongs and his legal troubles, but what matters is that he was trying to become a better person and do better things. one of those things was donating to a charity hours before he was shot. in the end, he inspired so many people. i didn’t listen to his music on the day to day, but his music was alright minus all the obnoxious songs he published (in my opinion). he had a life ahead of him. i think he’s really made an impact on some peoples’ lives, seeing that come from my friends as well as the people who looked up to him and idolized him. it’s a shame, truly
I’ve never heard of him. His death is a tragedy. I just hope it encourages more discussion on gun violence, etc. It gives kids a lesson that no matter how much money, fame and other things you have, you are still mortal.
Never really cared for his music, but it's definitely a tragedy for someone to die so young. Rest in peace.
Listened to him a little bit after the news, guy's pretty relaxing to listen to. Didn't deserve to die so young, Rip X.
Been listening to him since the start, since I support anyone who comes out of my city/state. He's always caught my attention and I've met him as well. Super sweet and caring, especially towards his fans. I'm extremely heartbroken by what happened. He was trying to spread love and positivism, trying to change the bad image people saw him as. I was planning to attend his charity event, and I still plan to, as Ski Mask has decided to continue it. RIP Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy You will always live on through your music, our hearts, and the good deeds of the countless fans you have.
Its so sad, especially when there's people who fail to see how he changed after his crimes and wanted to spread love and positivity.
