Baidu, a Chinese search engine, has been looking at a lot of our posts. The amount of data it's collecting is scary. What do you want from us, Baidu!?

Surprised this is in off topic.
What those Baidu accounts are, in actuality, are known as "spiders" or "crawlers." They go around and document new links (for example, every time you make a thread) so that it comes up when you search it on their browser.
For example, this thread doesn't show up when you search it on Google. At least, not yet.

Once the Google crawler views this, it'll transfer the information, and the thread will be searchable.
    Baidu is doing exactly that.
