[SurvivalGames] Mods Allowed?

Ok so I understand that many people use Optifine to speed up their computer. Lately though I have been wondering about a mod called VoxelMap. This mod is similar to Reis Minimap (Reis Minimap isn't updated to 1.7.5 yet) that allows players to set waypoints and see where they died at. Even though I use it, I was wondering if this is allowed to be used in survival.

On another subject it also show where players are. I think this is unfair when playing Survival Games. It doesn't show the whole map radius but it does show a good portion of the map. I do have it installed but I usually turn of the player seeing feature when playing Survival Games. My only concern is what if others are using this to provide an unfair advantage.

I don't know if its allowed or not. I would appreciate it if someone could inform me about this.

Staff are allowed to have them, but I'm not sure about players. Though, I can recall from a long time ago that Daorack said that Rei's Minimap is allowed

-Other mods that actually improve gameplay by a significant advantage

Good Mods:
-OptiFine
-Rei's Minimap
-Animated Players Mod
-Shaders
-Really any mod that doesn't change the game in anway to give a significant advantage
