Just look in the 'Free' section on the store lol. Most are decent, but only 1-2 stand out as much as TF2.

Then I'm pointing out TF2. It's a very casual shooter and all the game mechanics are balanced. Just ignore trading and whatnot lol
If you want to get into a MOBA, I'd suggest Dota. I mean, personally I prefer the air League of Legends, but Dota has its perks too. Other than that, free games are nearly nonexistent. I highly suggest getting a paid game, either by card or by having a friend gift one.
There is Team Fortress 2, DOTA 2, warframe, war thunder, blacklight: retribution, Tom Clancy's Ghost recons, Wakfu, Alliance of Valiant Arms (A.V.A) and Path of Exile. I've played all of these and liked them, maybe you should do some research about them and find a couple that you like. Although I got this weird bug on Blacklight: Retribution that didnt let me log in and I uninstalled it. Apparently it has also happened to others, it may happen to you as well.
