[Skyblock] Can't Rename Items

Server: Skyblock 2
Descripition: So I have 2 spawn eggs. One sheep and one cow. The sheep is has been renamed through the anvil called 'jeb_' but I want to change it. The cow egg is fine though. So when I try to rename things now, it won't make the little 'smashing' sound after I do it, then the egg hasn't been renamed and is back to the original name.
So what I'm saying is, some spawn eggs aren't able to be renamed apparently. Any solution or tips? Thanks :)

 

I don't think you name them from the eggs but you can with a nametag. Put the nametag in the anvil and rename it whatever you want it named then right click that on the animal.

 

So do you think renaming eggs is disabled for just Skyblock or is it for ALL of minecraft.

 

I looked it up and you can name spawn eggs so maybe it is just a glitch. I don't think it is something that can be fixed but I may be wrong.
Getting a nametag may be an easy fix for it tho.
