School Punishments

So today in my Social Studies class, my teacher told us to write a paragraph about a stand in History, I did that. My teacher called me up and said I wasn't doing it write and my teacher gave me silent lunch for tomorrow. Silent Lunch is basically eating lunch with out being able to talk. It was so funny lol!

My teacher forgot about it lol, so I'm off the hook.

 

At my school there is something called lunch detentions were you get to eat silently in the office next to the principal. Good thing I am a good kid. :)

 

My middle school does not have a cafeteria and everything you buy for lunch you go in this small room and there is like these shelf's that you pull off whatever you want from it then buy it then exit out the door on the other side. Also everyone eats outside the grass or just stands. My school was built last year and is rated number one for solar technology and paper saving we don't even have paper towels to dirty our hands in the bathroom because we have blow dryers. The school dose not even have lockers it is so dope. I am one of the first people to go to this school because it opened last year and I was there is 7th grade and now it is my final year there win 8th grade.

 

Silent Lunch... That's the first time I've heard that.

We have detentions that usually are just in the classroom with the teacher for like 5-10 mins then we have notified detentions.
These go for most of lunch, which our lunch only goes for 44 minutes.
Your parents also get notified that you received one so you can't hide it once you get home

 

Basically at my school, you sit at tables the teacher tells you to go for silent lunch, our lunch runs for about 30 minutes. It doesn't feel like a punishment to me, but back when I was in the elementary school. My class always got silent lunch 2 days a week or more cause the class kept talking, at one point we had to stay inside a whole recess, but I had a substitute teacher called Ms.Brady, and she gave me silent lunch for no reason. Then she sent me to the principle's office for not doing anything, since I finished all my work. It was chaotic.
