Paypal Issue (resolved)

I recently bought a 20$ paypal card, and I cant find out how to use it in check out. It asks for 3 digits, and then says that this buyer doesnt support paypal. What can I do?

 

Maybe you should try go on the PayPal website and look for FAQ or a procedure on how to use a card. Also, this is a pre-paid card right?

What kind of card is it? Is it an ACTUAL paypal card? if so you have to use that card and add it to your balance on paypal. You dont use it in store. Im not 100% sure on how it works, as soon as I get home on my computer I could look into it further. Other then that, try finding a way to take the balance off the card and onto your current balance.

If the card has a card number and also a CVV code on the back (3 digit number) then you could probably go to add card as if it were a credit or debit card and put in the necessary information. Which will be:

- Date the card expires
- Card Number
- CVV

If this doesnt give you some kind of idea on what to do.. just wait a bit and ill provide some screenshots later.

EDIT: okay so I looked into it.. and you can use the Paypal Gift card as if it was a credit card.

To add the card to your paypal account:

1. Login to Paypal
2. Go to My Wallet
3. Add Credit card
4. Select Giftcard option
5. Enter in Information.

You can also use the card during checkout by just simply putting in the information required during checkout.
