Okay sooo
I'm working on a project for school and I need multiple opinions on this. The essay I'm writing is about bullying. When my English teacher told me, I quickly thought of Nicole Arbour's video - Dear Fat People. Now - I've seen this video a few times and it disgusts me how much people can bully.
Now I'm gonna put the video down below.
NOTE: I need serious and honest opinions for after watching this video. This video is really offensive and if you think you might be offended, don't watch.

Now for a comeback at Nicole, I will be citing evidence from this video - which is a lot of responses from a lot of different YouTubers.

Please take this seriously. I don't just need it for school, I'm curious to know what everyone thinks.

 

She does the exact same thing bullies do, everything she does is for attention. She claimed she was doing comedy for about 10 years prior, people still don't find her funny. She originally started giving people positive feedback but that didn't fuel her enough, so she went the opposite and created various content just like this one. It's exactly what a bully does, anything to stand out.
Similarly, her obvious features below the face are often on show. She likes to show them. She went from videos saying not to show it, to her showing it herself.. sums up a lot.

For added bonus, you could mention her situation with Mr Santoro, and how the population seems to think men don't get abused, he clearly did and she's still there denying it and smiling about it.

 

Aha that's where I knew about a lot of things, that guy is just great.. you can use that video too if you wish to sum up things. Use the other video he did too which compares her recent videos and previous, showing she says completely the opposite in each.

 

Yea. I planned on using his video in some parts but it doesn't really address the "Dear Fat People" video which is why I don't plan on using it much.

 

Who the fuck is this bitch? Her voice is annoying. And she's a bitch.

 

I'm guessing all she cared about was getting views and money. That video made me cringe. People are that disgustingly rude? What is wrong with this girl?

The thing is, what she obviously doesn't know is that people don't only get obese because they eat too much.
People eat when their emotions are rattled. For me, if I'm upset, I might find something to snack on. It distracts me, and it helps me calm down. Genetics DO have to do with these things. What if most people in your family are short, and you inherit that gene. You're probably going to be a bit wider if you're short, even if you eat the same much as someone with an" average" height.
See, that's another thing. People make these averages and what not because they think it helps people. If someone doesn't have something that a majority has, doesn't make them ubnormal. It makes them unique.
Society has made these requirements that exclude people when it isn't even their fault sometimes. That's a big problem, and so is bullying. That's what Nicole did in her video. Bully.

 

I love you so much for saying that.
It makes me even more upset because I believed she disabled the likes and comments on that video. I think she disabled them because she knew people were going to fight back. She knew she was going to get hate. If she knew this, why upload the video to make more problems for youself?

 

Well in that case, I'm honestly not sure why she didn't take the video down as a whole. Yes stating your opinion is okay, but if it's going to do that much damage to not only the viewers but her reputation, why even post it?

 

I like how Nicole Arbour says she's a comedian but with her fat people video she made lots of people depressed and/or potentially kill themselves

She calls her self a blonde chick?, well I hate to tell you this sweetie, but you dyed your hair.
Also, I found a article and she said this "Arbour says she refuses to apologize, insisting that her intention was to start a conversation. “I feel it’s really important,” said Arbour, “that we make fun of everybody. I think [what] brings us together and unites us as people is that we can poke fun at all of us.”

 

I couldn't agree more.
One of the YouTubers - GradeAUnderA says something that attends to Nicole saying stuff like this in one of his videos.
In one video, she says - "...YouTube is just a place for manufactured drama." That's hypocritical of her because she goes around saying stuff like this:

 

I'm more pissed at Nicole's Video Manager for letting this horse shit get onto the internet.

 

I just watched her channel. She is a horrible ass person. The fat people video was not the first thing, she talks shit about black people, Syrian refugees etc. and at the end of the videos she says "Subscribe for more!". Bitch, what about a "Go fuck yourself for less!"? Sounds million times more appealing. You're a stupid piece of crap that thinks it's funny, and some things you say are actually quite funny. No, not the fact that they ARE funny, but because YOU think that they ARE funny.

Go fuck yourself, Nicole.

 

Have you read her channel info page? She calls herself a "Motivator". Don't make me laugh. She makes North America look stupid.

 

She disgusts me.
First of all, why does she have the right to make a video fat shaming, and then saying fat shaming doesn't exist?
She makes people feel like crap for attention, and that's absolutely repulsive.
Motivation? Please. She's an attention seeker making disgusting videos for views.
She is a stupid hypocrite, this video infuriates me so much.
