(Thanks to this thread by @LaColeman for the inspiration: http://itsjerryandharry.com/threads/nfl-playoffs-wild-card-round.84738/#post-813369) Today, the Patriots defeated the Chiefs 27-20 in what all came down to an onside kick(which NE TE R. Gronkowski recovered to protect their lead). Then the Cardinals defeated the Packers in what I cannot even wrap my head around. A. Rodgers in the final seconds left in regulation completing a 41 yard pass to J. Janis. Similar to the game winning hail-mary made in Week 13 vs. Detriot. Then in overtime in which begun in one of the most spectacular coin tosses I've seen. Beginning minutes in OT, Larry Fitzgerald completely open ran for 75 yards which this 2nd and goal game winning play in OT, Fitzgerald just taking a 5 yard run into the end zone for the touchdown. So tomorrow, Seattle(6) facing (1) Carolina. Seattle winning they will go to Arizona. Carolina winning they will host Arizona in the NFC title game. Finally to wrap up the divisional round, (6) Pittsburgh facing (1) Denver. Denver winning they will host New England in another great Manning-Brady game for the AFC title. Also if Pittsburgh wins they will visit New England in a week 1 rematch, as well for the AFC title. I got Denver winning over Pittsburgh, and Carolina winning over Seattle for this round. :)
Minor bump, I know. However it looks like Carolina is hosting Arizona and Denver is hosting New England in Manning-Brady bowl XVII(17)! ------ Just some quick notes. Pittsburgh/Denver: Pittsburgh was in control of the game however those turn overs killed them in the end in my opinion. Seattle/Carolina: Seattle in the second half nearly going to make the comeback. However those 31 points scored by Carolina was just enough to claim the victory. ----- Anyways, that's all I got for now. I'll make a thread about Championship Sunday when the time comes. :)
