    Aye, JWD here.

So, another sports thread that will probably get no attention. lol.

Anyways, this one is about the NBA Playoffs, which start Saturday. I'm really excited, especially since my team, the Hornets, are in the playoffs. It should be a very good playoffs this year, with some great matchups in store.
    So, as for my predictions.

    EASTERN CONFERENCE

#1 Cleveland Cavaliers vs. #8 Pistons

I'll give Pistons some credit for finally making the playoffs after a long drought, but there's no way they're winning here. The Cavs will be too strong

    Cavs in 5

#2 Toronto Raptors vs. #7 Indiana Pacers

I love how the Raptors played this year. Kyle Lowry, Demar Derozan, and DeMarre Carrol is a deadly trio. I love Paul George, but I don't think he can lead the Pacers over the Raptors alone.

#3 Miami Heat vs. #6 Charlotte Hornets

This is going to be a good, long series. These are two very different teams, which will give us a fun series to watch. These two teams are so close, its hard to pick. I love Dwyane Wade, and I feel he's very underrated. This whole Heat team is strong from top to bottom. However, Charlotte played some great basketball after the All-Star break. Kemba Walker has been playing out of his mind, and I think the Hornets will grind this one.

#4 Atlanta Hawks vs. #5 Boston Celtics

In my opinion, this is the best matchup of the first round. The Celtics are a very unique team, and you should never count them out. They are never out of the game. The Hawks quietly had a very good year, and are a good team top to bottom. However, I think the Celtics are the better team here.

    WESTERN CONFERENCE

#1 Golden State Warriors vs. #8 Houston Rockets

Okay, but did anyone realize that the Warrior won 73 games???

    73 GAMES????????

They had the best regular season ever. I doubt it will be topped anytime soon. I'm convinced Steph Curry was genetically modified in a lab. The Dubs will cruise to an easy win here.

    Warriors in 4

#2 San Antonio Spurs vs. #7 Memphis Grizzlies

Spurs are taking this. It doesn't even deserve a discussion.

    Spurs in 4

#3 Oklahoma City Thunder vs. #6 Dallas Mavericks

They may only be the 3 seed, but the Thunder are without a doubt, one of the best teams in the league. With Triple-Double machine Russel Westbrook, and scoring machine Kevin Durant, the Thunder will win this easily.

    Thunder in 5

#4 Los Angeles Clippers vs. #5 Portland Trail Blazers

The only matchup in the West that doesn't have a certain winner. This should be a good one. As much as people hate the Clippers, they're a very good team, with the dangerous trio of Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, and Deandre Jordan, the Clips will pick up the W here.

    2nd round, Eastern Conference

#1 Cleveland Cavaliers vs. #5 Boston Celtics

The Celtics will put up a good fight here, but LeBron and the Cavs will be too much to handle, and they'll be back in the Conference Finals

    Cavs in 6

#2 Toronto Raptors vs. #6 Charlotte Hornets

Woo boy, this would be a fun matchup. Kyle Lowry against Kemba Walker, Nic Batum against Demarre Carrol. This would be a long, hard-fought series, but I'm going with the Hornets to pull off the upset for two reasons.

1: They have the best bench in the NBA. They're so deep, they will be able to wear out the Raptors with their bench.

    2: Homerism

    Hornets in 7

    Western Conference

#1 Golden State Warriors vs. #4 Los Angeles Clippers

Sorry Clippers, but Golden State is too strong. No chance for you here.

    Warriors in 5

#2 San Antonio Spurs vs. #3 Oklahoma City Thunder

Oh man, its a shame that this matchup happens so early in the playoffs. This would be so fun to watch. Yet, its not even the best matchup we have. (That'll be next round) I'm going to go with the Spurs here, because of their discipline, and their experience.

    Eastern Conference Finals

#1 Cleveland Cavaliers vs. #6 Charlotte Hornets

Yea, this might seem like a pretty underwhelming matchup for the Conference Finals. I know. This is where the Hornets fatigue sets in. Two straight 7 game series will prove to be too much for them, as the Cavs head to the finals yet again.

    Cavs in 6

    Western Conference Finals

#1 Golden State Warriors vs. #2 San Antonio Spurs.

Every basketball fans wet dream, a Spurs-Warriors series. These are the two best teams in the NBA, without a doubt. This will be a long, hard fought series, but the Warriors are just too good. I can't pick against them.

    Warriors in 7

    NBA FINALS

#1 Golden State Warriors vs. #1 Cleveland Cavaliers

Yup, a rematch of last year. Lets hope Steph Curry doesn't have a meltdown mid-series again, and give California another heart attack. I think LeBron deserves another ring, but he's not getting it this year. The Warriors are just too strong. They're undoubtedly the best team in the league, and they will repeat.

Thats it for now. That was one long thread, holy crap. Thanks for reading, if you read the whole thing. Feel free to leave your predictions below! Have a nice day ^.^
