Minecraft Minecraft 1.11 Snapshot!

So today is the day the newest MC snapshot was released, and it contains all the features Jeb talked about at Minecon. :) Here's some Photos of what i got

First of all, the Shulker boxes! Today i found it to be a surprise that not only can you have shulker boxes, but you can Dye them different colors too!

I guess this is one thing Jeb didnt tell us about at Minecon, so its quite a treat to hear.

Another thing we got is the fabled Llamas. ouo They look so derpy its funny.

What you can do with Llamas is that if you tame one and take it with you, the rest of the group follow in a Caravan. They are quite nice for people who dont have horses yet. They arent as fast as them but they still are quite useful. Also there Spit attack is Funny as well, if a Wolf is nearby, all of them will go after it.

Another thing we have are the Observer blocks, I dont really know how they work that much but its still a nice addition to the game.


Sadly, i couldnt find any of the Woodland mansions cause there were not cartographers nearby, so i just spawned them in to show you :p

First is the Vindicator, the Main boss of the mansions, They are these Villager-looking guys except they want you dead. These guys make me see them as some type of Mob or Gang of Villager rejects who learned Witchcraft and really hate people.

This guy's attacks is that he waves his arms around and Summons little flying ghosts called Vexes, Another attack he has is where he summons Venus fly trap mouths that sprout up from the ground and Bite you, they deal a lot of damage too so be prepared. They also have a special AI where if you charge at them with your weapon, they run away from you so they can attack again.

If you manage to kill them, you get a special item called the Totem of Undying, its an Endgame item that can be used in a really bad situation, like if You fall in lava, or if an Enderman really wants to have you as an appetizer this thing will activate and give you absorption for 5 seconds and Regeneration 2 for 20 seconds.

These are the only things which i have a feeling will be abused by Players who are Overpowered and farm these things, They would practically be unkillable. So hopefully a strategy or a cooldown is implemented for these items.

Sorry that i dont have screenshots for all of these, but i will edit the thread when im able to get them :) Overall thats all the stuff thats coming in 1.11, I am quite excited and i believe it will be perfect Comic material so look forward to that too. c: If you want to try all of this stuff out Go to your Minecraft launcher and Enable snapshots. Just a faor warning though be careful not to load an old world as it my corrupt your save.

 

Minecraft is getting a bit too much into the fantasy world now.

I mean when they added 1.9 pvp- that's actually closer how to real life fighting would work. But now this woodland stuff and it's just so weird. Also- 1.9 takes like 3 years to come out and then we got 1.10 1.11 fresh off the tray.

I call this one a FNAF occurrence. FNAF 3 was 1.10, and FNAF 4 is 1.11

 

This is the one thing I give a damn about in 1.11.

 

1.11 looks really stupid imo

They do actually, They drop leather like Cows and Horses

Honestly, I don't even take time to look at this kind of stuff but it looks so cool!

 

Observer block and shulker box are the best features. :)
