Loosen up a bit?

I hate to add to the growing amount of community "complaint" threads, but it seems the trend for while...
wait... let me get this out first.

This is not directed towards a specific person, no matter how much you see it to be. This is not what I'm talking about though. Please keep in mind that personality and emotions differ, and some people are not as playful as others, I am not referring to them. Nor, am I referring to those who come just for reports, questions, etc.

It seems lately that fun, enjoyment and random discussion (the main point of a forum) has been put to the side and neglected, for "maturity", which even that has been taken to the extreme. Here for a visual:

Month 1
RespectedUser1: -shares a popular/funny video-
User2: LOL I love this video
FocusUser: -video- is love, -video- is life
User3: I could watch this all day!

Month 2
FocusUser: *playful sad story* umg i cri evry tim
User2: LOL I love this thing
User3:me 2
RespectedUser1: This is so overused -.-

Month 5
User3: -inserts personal funny story full of grammar mistakes-
FocusUser: You really should fix your grammar, it makes you seem really immature
User2: LOL I love when you tell stories

Month 10:
FocusUser: I really want to start anew because my post count is full of immature messages and it makes me seem egotistical, I'll probably be more respected.

Now of course, this is an exaggerated example, 99.999999999% of respected members are not complete buttholes, the majority of them are friendly, nice and sensible, but on the off chance, newer to new-ish members, who are still finding their place in this small internet society feel disliked when they make more joking posts than serious ones, I understand these are sometimes their true feelings and I respect that, however, many users feel they need to constantly need to update them selve, making notification posts that they are going to change, changing, or removing avatars, or creating all new accounts completely.

To me it's becoming a nuisance, the same ones who say post count doesn't matter, create new accounts because they feel their number is too high, or that they spammed, almost as of they are hiding the fact that they were once young. It is becoming taboo to be seen making joke posts alongside serious ones, you need to hide your identity as a different user to make them. Users that used to be fun and talk on the forums often rarely do it anymore, they seclude themselves until something serious comes around. More often than not, these users ARE capable of making immature, funny, enjoyable posts, however they do not, in fear of "tainting" their image.

I dislike comparing the old forums to the new, but at the old forums respect and popularity seemed to come from talkativity, friendliness and personality.

At these new ones, popularity comes from post quality, strict modesty and persistent, unwavering maturity.

We are in a sense taking away the one thing that will keep these forums enjoyable, as that seems to be a growing complaint.

There are reasons I did not place this in Server Discussion, or Suggestion. Reason being, which should always be stated in these contexts IMO, this is not a suggestion, but something to look upon yourself and think about, 'Agreed' 'Disagreed' is not what I am looking for. It is not in server discussion because I am not discussing the logistics and rules of the server, but the ideals of the people who take part in it. The reason I come here, and get my dose of JH is due to the people, I come here for enjoyment, it's fun, I won't make a fuss and decide to storm off (not because it's "immature"), but I just come here for enjoyment of the discussion, no matter what it is.

All I ask of you is to think about it, you actually physically don't have to do anything, you don't even have to reply, just make a change or ignore this proposition.
