Gold is terrible, It has low life in Minecraft and it doesn't protect you very well. I actually think Iron is more stronger than Gold or even Wood xD I tried mining with a gold pickaxe and I went only 20 blocks down and my pickaxe ran out of life. c:
dont spam ur pick. it goes away faster when you hold the left mouse clicking thingy for more time. break 1 block, pause and so on
