Hey guys, I've noticed that a lot of people have been comparing the new lobby to the Hypixel lobby.
Or that people dont like the new lobby because it only has one portal.
The fact that the staff worked hard on the lobby and went out of their way to make it
for us to be happy, it's kind of annoying. So, hey just don't??

I understand we'll miss the old lobby and that there are may memories there,
you have to adjust to the new environment. Of course, the new lobby is bigger and causes lag,
but there are things staff can do to change it and make it less laggy.

I personally like the new lobby and the one portal thing.
It's more efficient and easier for new people who join
the server to find. I also think that the new lobby
is perfectly fine.

Enjoy the new lobby because an

I completely agree with your statements.

I'm already seeing tons of people comparing it to Hypixel, but they have forgotten what IJAH is all about. Being different from those other servers and being unique, and just thinking they copied a lobby design from the Hypixel team is sad, and pitiful at the same time.

Staff worked really hard on this new lobby, and it is amazing.

I myself get why people say the old lobby should come back, and honestly a little part of me wants that as well, with all my memories there. But there is always time for change, and I think this new lobby is going to bring a bright future to IJAH.

anyway agreed. I went around the Hypixel lobby and it does not seem similar, just the vast amount of places to run around is what "seems the same".

 

I agree, tbh you can't compare J&h to hypixel, hypixel is a much more larger server and they have theyre own build team.

I love how people complained about the old lobby being a square and the same lobby every time but a little different then this released and it sets everyone into a panic mode.

Whoever said that the spawn was similar to hypixel clearly wasn't on that server. They aren't even bloody similar!

But changing the lobby was still damn sad, the new spawn is all well build and all but wasn't really necessary in my opinion, let's be honest, they turned an interactive lobby with portals who have their OWN logo and amazing Willy's builds into one giant island with a never-ending parkour. Flying around the old lobby was fun because anywhere you look, nothing will be similar or same because of different builds staff put hard work into, instead, it became a... Abandoned island with no cool buildings as in the old lobby. And wherever you look, it's the same grass...

It's true that it isn't like hypixel's spawn at all, but I was pretty sad with these changes. Willy even said that it was made because they only needed one portal, and I understand why. But still, a change that I ain't happy with.

 

I think the J&H spawn is way better than the Hypixel spawn.
