Help plz

So I had a plot around spawn in creative 1 and I did "/p deny *" so nobody could get on to the plot until it was done. But when I was done I wanted to revoke that and just let everybody be on the plot but not be able to break anything. Thats when i made the mistake of doing "/p add *". I then left for a few days and came back to find my plot completely gone because of my horrible failure. So I had to do "/p deny *" again in order to prevent people griefing again. Is there a command that makes someone just be able be on the plot but not be able to break or place anything?
