Before you say this is faked, there are fifteen sources at the bottom that support it, and they are reliable.
I would say a police officer is more effective, but police officers in the US get so little training.
Trump passed a bill allowing the police access to military gear; tear gas grenade launchers, carbine rifles, humvees, etc. There is also an increased mandatory amount of training.
Maybe that's because police officers get no actual training, they get fired if they fuck up, and they get shit pay. Also, what does the amount of police per person matter? They are a figure of authority and they get treated by such. It's not like everyone is going to shoot their local cops. What you're saying can also be used to justify vigilante justice. If that's what you're advertising, you have no place in a civil society.
bullshit. go try to join the force right now. i guarantee you'll be turned down because you HaVe No TrAiNiNg Or BaCkGrOuNd In ThAt FiElD if you fuck up, you get fired. thats how jobs work mate. also, the low pay is for most jobs anyway. it matters because they are always busy. you have half the force rbting and ticketing. there needs to be more lmao. thats nice. but that doesnt scare most criminals. i dont even know what you're getting at here. what, that there are not enough cops in america? or that people should carry guns worldwide. a triggered furry
Ho boy, here we go. To start off, you misunderstood what I was saying. I'm not saying every average joe can just walk in. What I was trying to push was my opinion that the average police academy's training(9 months) is not enough for a police officer to be the calm and level headed medium it needs to be in tense situations, especially domestic ones. I'll also take the blame with your second quote. I didn't clarify, but the reason I stated that was to show the lack of incentive to join the police force. If the punishments are severe and the pay isn't good for 9 months of training, why even go for it? That was my explaination for your "x police for every y citizens" statement. Your second to last quote just proves my last statement. Also, it'd be nice if you'd be respectful and just not call someone triggered when they don't agree with you. Thanks fam :)
After living in the U.K. for three years I've realized that people should not be aloud guns, a lot of people will disagree with me but the only people I feel who should have guns are licensed hunters. Life is too precious to be put in the hands of everyone.
Please look at the infographic I posted above. It has information on how banning guns in UK has increased the crime rate.
