I legitimately thought that was inspect element. Also there is a nice number of messages in that forum right now.
do you wonder why? with owners making disrespectful comments like that there is bound to be players doing it. want proof?
I fail to see how the owners making an immature comment makes people spam leaving threads or cause drama? That was happening 3 years ago and it had nothing to do with the owners. They never said a word. There’s 6 threads there now and none of them have turned into a massive flame war, what are you talking about?
Most of the drama was caused by people repeatedly making leaving threads and never actually leaving. People called them out on being attention whores and drama erupted from there. Literally every single person who currently has a leaving thread in the goodbyes section is still visiting these forums daily. Nothing disrespectful about that, just facts
I am quoting the thing I asked Siri. Ken: Hey Siri, define goodbye. Siri: There are two ways to define goodbye (they were the exact same, probably a glitch) EXCLAMATION used to express good wishes when parting or at the end of a conversation. NOUN an instance of saying ‘goodbye’; a parting. Hear that? used to express good wishes when parting or at the end of a conversation. not: quitting a certain thing The Goodbye section is for people who are leaving the IJAH community or going inactive, not quitting Minecraft. If you wanna quit Minecraft, say something on your profile or put (quit) or (inactive) on your Minecraft username on your personal details. If you're gonna leave the community (preferably forever), put a thread in the Goodbye category, that's what it was made for. Sorry, I just wanted to give the explanation for the hooligans out there trying to get a few likes and a bit of attention ~Ken
I used to make like 18 leaving threads when there was Introduce Yourself/Farewell section lmao, I don't really know why it was added back because most people who left, actually left without having to make a thread to publicize it
oh, sure. make that a rule then. dont make disrespectful comments like that, remember that people actually leave. i figured out of all people you'd know that. EDIT: i didnt see that 2 others responded to my comment, and it's pretty much just saying the same thing. so i'll leave it at that.
hmmmm looks like the comment is correct seeing as literally every single person who has made a leaving thread shows on their profile that they're still active lel
my goodness. you're using a similar argument to the one i used in my "report staff abuse" thread. you dont seem to care when your staff resign and reapply, do you? do you make unnecessary comments like that towards them? and how they fill up server discussion with staff awareness threads? i know the awareness threads have nothing to do with the leaving threads. the point im trying to prove is that you dont care about the barrage of attention seeking threads made by staff, but when players want to make leaving threads, you make comments like that?
lol all the staff threads are the exact reason why we re-added the leaving section... it makes no sense that staff is allowed to make these resignation threads while players aren't allowed to make leaving threads the whole reason leaving threads were made against the rules in the first place didn't make sense, it was a kneejerk reaction to the drama started in those threads
you're actually missing the point. you come up with comments like that towards player leaving threads, but you dont do it to staff? i wrote "stop milking" on expedect's quitting thread and it got removed. yes, i could appeal but its really not worth my time. but you practically wrote the same thing as a public description and it's true? it may be true, but you dont need to make your own opinions as public as that.
I don't feel the owners need to be objective on how they feel about a certain kind of thread. They're saying if you want to make a leaving thread, so be it, but make it legit. They are Minecraft server owners that aren't afraid to express their opinions, which is a good thing. And I think threads that are meant to grab attention make a majority of people mad. It is nice enough of the owners to even allow such thread to be created anyways.
