Hello comrades, welcome back to another thread made by yours truely! Sit back and relax or something, because I plan this to be the longest thread I have made, ever, of all time! So, first off everyone, this thread will be split into a variety of sub-threads will different topics. Also, keep in mind that I might start to ramble a bit, so look out for that. If you catch me rambling, tell me in a post down below, that would be great! So, this is how the thread will be ordered, so everyone is on board with what I wish to talk about today. 1. Explaination on why I have not been making threads lately. This first sub-topic is very self explanatory, I feel the need to explain myself for not making many threads lately. 2. Inspiration for all. Speech I plan to write out in detail inspiring all of you, considering I happen to be very good at that. 3. What I plan to do in the future. This will go over on what I want to produce thread-wise and some future insight on what I plan to do with my 'career' here. 4. Video game talk. Bit of a discussion on a game that I wish to talk about. 5. Epilogue. So, with that part over, lets commence with the first slide. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Why I have not been making threads lately. • To be honest, I kind of stopped caring, and I started to become more of a commenter rather than a creator. Being frank here, I really wish to create more, "controversial" threads, (but don't worry I will always create the occasional one :p ) but I have been more hesitant on it considering topics that I wish to talk about, are directly related to my opinions, and I was afraid that the entire community, mainly the SJW's, would rip me a new one if I dared click the 'create thread' button. Mostly though, is that I simply started to lose interest here on the forum. • I am mostly devoted to my friends on here now, and they know who they are, and that is the reason why I am still here in the first place. And dear God, my friends mean the world to me, and some even mean more than that to me. So I stopped creating threads for a decent while because I stopped caring for the most part, until now that it. Not that I will force myself to create these threads, but I will try to come out with more on a better schedule. Hopefully this helped a bit :) <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Inspiration for all. I am very sure that all of you are have been down at some point in your lives, with a lot of things. For people like you, or if any kind for that matter, I just wanted to take a second to inspire lads like you. First, I wish to tell a story about myself though,(Not a sob story, just hear me out). You guess remember back in Feburary when I joined back? Of course all of you do, and I tend to talk about that topic a lot these days, a bit more than necessary to be honest. What I did not expect however when I joined back, is for me to be looked up upon by a lot of people in the community as an inspirational figure and a leader. I of course, never stop doing what I was doing and kept being myself, even after tons of people called me fake, (much to my dismay). Not that being called fake made me sad or anything, some people just thought that I seemed to be trying to act, 'too mature' for my age, and for a variety of other reasons. Moving along, because of what I was doing on the forum, I quickly had a lot of people call me inspirational, if you wish to call it that. People liked me because I was brutally honest with a lot of people, and I am not afraid to state my opinion even though I hold a very unpopular one by the forums standards. This resulting in people thinking that I post stuff just to get people to like me, which is about a quarter true actually, why would I post anything if literally everyone hated what I was doing? There would be no point in that. Luckily though, a lot of people supported me regardless of political views, or anything else, and I even have learned to call people friends, even if they do not agree with me on a lot of things. The tolerance to different opinions was actually something I kind of lacked when I joined the forum again in Febuary, because admittedly, I never really talked politics with anyone prior to me joining the forum again, because I tended to keep it to myself most of the time. I quickly learned the ability to handle different opinions, very quickly. And I think people saw that in me, and started to look at me like a leader of some sorts, even though I never considered myself to be one. I greatly appreciated this, and just kept doing what I kept doing, even forgetting for a decent while that people even saw me like that, ironically. Now, in present time, I still don't consider myself a leader, because I don't really try to be a leader, to be perfectly honest, but, to me and my personal group of friends, I really do try to be someone they can look up to. I am also very protective of all of my friends, whether they notice it or not. Specially for a select few that are closer to me than others. So, you may ask, "Venom, what's the point of writing your story of being on the forum? You seem to be a bit of a fool of yourself because of this, and I don't get what is meant to be inspirational about this?" You see critical user, I wanted to share my 'story' with others because I wanted to encourage the same traits within them as well, not just myself. I want all of you, by the time your done reading this, to try to be more of a leader for others, and if you cannot see yourself being one, trust me, just be yourself, people will look up to that and in turn you will inspire others to be themselves as well. Inspire others as well whenever you can, even if you do suck at it, it's the effort that counts gentlemen, so make it so :) <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> What I plan to do in the future. Well, for starters, I could try getting a computer. In the future, I hope to be getting a desktop for Christmas this year by my family so I may finally be able to associate myself with you guys a bit more. I think my family will because they acknowledge the fact that I do go on a forum, and have even acknowledged the fact that I have friends here, so that helps raise hopes for me. If not, worst case scenario for me, is that I have to wait around a half a year until I turn sixteen, and then I will be able to get a job in the United States. Even a cheap desktop is alright, they run better than laptops, so I have a guaranteed computer within at least a year, so look forward to that :D Another thing I plan on doing is starting my own blog, forum, or something so I may rant to my hearts desire, which I feel like people would throughly enjoy! I am also considering getting recording software for my Xbox so I can upload videos talking about politics and other serious topics in the background while I play video games! Considering you can only record five-minute clips on the Xbox, which is a huge nein when trying to upload quality content for you guys to enjoy. Look forward to it comrades! Prepare yourself for a deep-German accented voice talking about politics in the background while I play videos games at the same time! I was kidding about the deep accent, but I do believe I have a accent though, because I don't see myself to have one because I have been used to it all my life :p That is all for this sub-topic, I know it was rather short, but it was a big enough accouncement for me to include it on this thread. So, moving on. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Video game talk. Probably the part you guys wanted to hear the most :p If you guys want to see more threads I have made on videos games, check these threads out, some of them flew by your heads! http://itsjerryandharry.com/threads/venom-game-nerd.90972/ http://itsjerryandharry.com/threads/metal-gear-survive-rant.96691/ http://itsjerryandharry.com/threads/clash-of-clans-rant.95701/ http://itsjerryandharry.com/threads/victoria-2.93408/ These are individual standalone threads which I have made in the past, and probably will out-do this sub-thread by a longshot, but I considered that since you have hopefully taken the time to read all of this, you would want to see some more interesting content as well. Also, comrades, don't like my posts on those threads, nor bump them, I don't want to seem like a attention hog. So with that out of the way, lets get started on the actual gaming discussion! Highly unlikely that any one of you have heard of this game. But if so, good! You get three Venom-Bucks! But seriously, the game I am talking about is a game called, "Hearts of Iron 4". First thing, you are probably asking what the game is about. So let me briefly elaborate on that! The game is a WW2 simulator which puts you in control of any country in the world at the time of WW2! The game also supports mods, which makes the experience much better! Take a look for yourself: Just a time-lapse of the gameplay and style of the game, just for an introduction. If you guys want, you can buy it on steam if you wish! I may not have a computer to play it myself, but I seriously recemmend it to anyone with good history and strategy taste in video games! And this sub-topic ends here to an anti-climatic end, sorry guys/girls! If I am to endorse a game, I must first know it's a good game by my standards at least before I share it with you people, and it is difficult to tell if a game is good or not because I cannot actually play the game! But, with a good amount of hours invested in watching lets-plays, I can definately say its a good game! Least for me :p, but I wanted to share it with you anyways! <><><><><><><><> So, would you guys like to see more of this type of thread? Or would you prefer just a standalone thread all by itself on one topic? I was just testing the waters with this idea I had, and this took about two days to write! So some feedback would be appreciated, and if you guys like this style of thread, I will be making more in the future, but with even better quality and better ideas for discussion! ~Venom.
If you really want recording software and hardware for your Xbox, I'd recommend getting an Elgato Capture Card, it's easy to work with, and it has high quality. Apart from that, really nice thread here.
