No this won't be about me. I've realized that not many people are educated on this type of illness. So here is a brief description of what it is. Depression is not something people can just "snap" their fingers and their happy again. Depression isn't contagious. People who are depressed aren't toxic. They don't intend of hurting anyone. Depression is like being followed around by a dark cloud. They can't make it go away. Depression takes years of treatment. People who are depressed don't want attention for it. People who are depressed usually feel like there isn't a way out. Depression can result into many things that are serious. It isn't something to joke about. It never is and never will be. It's like being stuck into a sound proof box where no one can hear you scream for help. This isn't a technical term of depression but it is sort of what it feels like. People who are like this aren't any different from you. Their the same as you. They struggle with everyday challenge. It's like hell for people who suffer with disorders like this. Sure, there are worse cases. BUT people need to be educated in things like these!! Sooner or later you'll find out. I can just tell you many things your words can lead someone to do. Respect you and others. You don't know what people have gone through or going through. Just remember you're human they are human. You all have feelings. You aren't higher in place than them. You're the same.
Another serious illness people don't realize how serious it can be is PTSD(another type of depression). Many people just don't know how heart broken these people are. They would rather kill themselves then living with the haunting nightmares, images inside there head. Tbh people need to start knowing about these serious illnesses as it is pretty much hell everyday for the people who suffers from it.
Same goes for OCD, you have to be diagonsed by a DOCTOR not YOURSELF to have these serious disorders/etc. I have OCD and it literally kills me sometimes. When someone sneezes, When I see something unorganized, When someone touches my hand, like Howie Mandel. I wash my hands like 12 times a day sometimes even more. No it doesn't look ugly and dry, there's a thing called lotion lol. You don't have OCD, if you just like things to be neat and tidy. That's just being an organized, clean, person. People need to do more research on these serious things, like someone said, it's hell for someone who actually has these illnesses and disorders. Oh and as always talk to someone like a doctor, parent, even teacher about these problems NOT to people you don't even know.
