Hello everyone! So I was recently wondering about the forums, and it seems that almost every player's least favorite Mini-game is CraftRoulette. So, if no one likes it, why keep it? That's what this thread is for. Answer what you think should be the future of the CraftRoulette Mini-game in the poll above.
Keep it. It is there, and if you don't want to play it, just don't play it. There are people that like it. If you remove it, the servers quality doesn't increase, and if the quality doesn't increase, you should not go on with the project.
Actually only 8 people are on at a time. Lol. I say Delete, and I'm actually trying to start a team to build maps and a resource pack for the minigame I'm making(Interested in Joining? Just click the text!)
If you delete it, you might delete the favorite minigame of 8 people. If you keep it, the people who don't like it, still won't play it, but the 8 people that do like it can still play. Deleting it is useless as it doesn't bring any extra quality.
8 out of ~2000 is a significant number? Also, I am going to be providing an alternative, once it's ready(I am literally just opening teams, as said in my earlier post). When it's ready, I'll make a suggestion for it, explaining the minigame and how it is a much better addition than CraftRoullete,
8 people that might be playing the server just for CR. There's no point in deleting it. Please tell me some advantages of it being deleted.
I don't see why you're putting the minority in front of the majority. Advantages? Replaced with a more worthy game(That the majority might actually enjoy), Server itself can be deleted, saving J&H money, maybe even allowing for some upgrades. Those are the 2 largest ones that came up at the top of my head, but let's look at the disadvantages. <30 can't play it anymore Oh noes. If they actually cared so much about the game, they can go to the actual site or app.
CraftRoulette should be removed. If you really want to hang out with random people then go to the website.
Well, in case I didn't make my opinion clear, I say delete it. What's the point in having something no one plays? You guys do realize that it costs money, right? So I think it should be replaced with a game the the whole community will like. Right now, the game is just wasting the server's money. Also, yes, there is a website where you can do this. If you really want to play it, then just go there.
I am for deleting it if there is a good alternative. If it's just deleting it, without anything else coming for it, I am against it.
I actually want a replacement too, I'm actually going to be suggesting my minigame as a replacement when we complete it, although I have no idea when that'll be.
Personally I think that this should be considered by staff not the players, it's the newest minigame it needs more of a chance
It's been out for +2 months and most people don't enjoy it. And why would you go to a minigame where <20 people are on at once when you can go to the real thing where so many more are on at once.
Oh my gosh this thread is doomed. The moment a staff member sees it, it's going to be locked. Then again, I like having a voice. The issue with CraftRoulette is that it's a less functional version of a somewhat functional website. Chatting with strangers? Ummmm... That's what Minecraft is all about in multiplayer - you don't know the people there. What's the point in making it like a random person omegle thing for minecraft? It serves little function, and ultimately, if you want to get the experience of talking with a random person, that's what omegle is there for. It takes up space, space that could better be used for... Something that makes more sense on a Minecraft server, if you don't mind me saying so. It's the Temple Run of the server right now. Taking it out is the best choice here.
You do realize if no one really plays it and J&H are paying for the CraftRoulette server so it's a waste of money.
