729. Why am I so low in the leagues? I purposely dropped down to save up resources to upgrade/max things out. I used to be in Crystal I.

Tell me if I forgot anything, I am in a rush.

Quick question, should I do level 3 minions and level 6 balloons for the miniball strategy? Or do level 2 hogs and have level 5 wizards clear up?

Maxed TH9 mortars.

Go for balloons first, they're the largest upgrade and they are the key point in the balloonion strategy.

I remember someone in my clan trying to get me to make him leader. It was so funny. First, he proclaimed that he was the maker of COC, and he just made it so there could be two leaders. THEN, when I pointed out something (I forgot) he said that he was the assistant. He (tried) to prove it by saying we were the 9999999245th best clan. I don't think he knew that you could actually check your clan rating.

 

I saw pekka on barracks, it looks good, hows it useless? ;/

 

Because they are bad against teslas, and they are slow :p

Well duh, part of their descriptions goes by the lines "They don't do well with electricity though." Plus, Teslas do 2x the damage to Pekkas than other troops. If you team up a pekka and a barbarian king though, they dominate everything. If there are wizards or witches surrounding them too for airborne troops, you got yourself a 2-3 star raid

 

Unless of course you're up in the Crystal league, where everything except golems drop like flies :P

What is your favorite strategy? Until I get level 3 minions and level 6 balloons, I am keeping level 3 dragons and 5 minions at level 2. :/

 

Depends on what your purpose is.

If you're going for domination, hogs is ideal, but they are expensive in dark elixer(also, has to be lvl 3 or above)

Farming DE/domination, balloonion is best for the first and decent for the latter.(Balloons must be level 6 or it will not work properly)

Going for farming?
I use:
8 giants
8 wallbreakers
and rest barbarian/archers.

If you're not trying to save a lot of Dark Elixer, you could do the B.A.M. Strategy, where you:

Load both dark barracks with minions non-stop, half of the normal barracks archers(non-stop), and other half barbarians(non-stop). This utilizes all 6 barracks to maximize training efficiency, and it's pretty effective.

(this is th9 exclusive by the way)

 

Right, I know all those. Although, when in a clan war, you would need something to back up the hogs. Maybe use 3-5 of them as a "Sacrificial piece." You send them in to lure out the clan castle troops, then use either: Archers and barbs, or wizards. That way, all you need there, are 4 heal spells and you're good to go. Also, yeah, I know it is best for level 3 hogs, but it can work if you are pushing from as low as I am. (Which won't happen as I am saving up from collectors.)

 

Actually, hogs are the best luring troop :P
The archers/wizards are the "sweeper troop", they kill the CC :)
