Christmas Sharing

Okay this might be a little early and people might not know what they're going to do yet. But, I believe this would be a great time for everyone to share of what their opinion is on Christmas and maybe a fun story to tell.
You could also maybe tell about a favorite present or what plans you have for this year.

I'll start!

So one year I went on a snowboarding trip with my dad, and it was lots of fun! One of my favorite moments was when we got there. Outside all I could see was blizzard. It was snowing so hard and maybe about 2 or so feet of snow on the ground. We get out of the car and my dad leaves his keys inside. I specifically remember him telling me, "Don't close the door or we'll get stuck in this shitty weather." So, I walk to the trunk, grab my snowboard and all my gear. Then, I walk over to the door and close it. My dad starts laughing and goes, "What the hell Charlie we're stuck out here now!" Then we had to wait about an hour in the freezing cold for another key to get there.

Personally, to me, Christmas is a time to just spend with our families.
Presents are amazing and all but they don't define Christmas, what defines it is that joy it can bring to your face while watching a funny Christmas movie, drinking hot chocolate, arguing over football with your family. Haha
Everyone's happy just because...it's Christmas, you know. The time of joy and togetherness, the time for Christians to recognize the birth of Jesus. It's remarkable.

Christmas has always been one of my favorite holidays, just because it's that one time of the year my family can come together and spend time with each other. Watching the younger kids open up presents with excitement and happiness in their faces, watching Christmas movies with my family alongside some football, playing games with everyone, I can literally ask for nothing else.

 

Christmas tends to be pretty special for everyone. On Christmas, I really enjoy traveling with my family to go back home (in the Philippines). I don't really speak Tagalog but I tend to understand it quite well. I don't really enjoy receiving presents, giving them is what I really love to do. Donating to charity, buy presents for friends and family, it's an amazing feat. If I remember correctly, 10 years ago, during Christmas, I played basketball outside in the Philippines with my friends. I got hurt and I ended up staying in hospital the whole day. With my friends and family, that Christmas started off being the worst to the best.

tl;dr, enjoy your Christmas with whoever. It's a wonderful time of the year and it's relaxing.

 

To me Christmas is about being cheerful and joyful, spending time with your family, going to church, and doing good deeds. We just put our Christmas tree up and we did it together. I love singing Christmas songs in the morning and annoying the hell out of my friends.

Usually, during Christmas my family comes over and we have dinner, drink, and we give eachother gifts. I'm currently going to church school and I learned Christmas is also about Jesus' birth so I got two angels and placed them under my tree aswell lol. Is it bad that I still leave cookies and milk out for Santa? IM A BELIEVER! he never eats the cookies or milk.. I guess he's on a diet..

Anyways, I really enjoy Christmas time because there's so many things to do and be thankful of.
