Pretty self-explanatory. Please consider these tips before applying. Sorry if there are any grammatical mistakes because I'm on my iPad.

    1. Be yourself. Don't lie, if you do lie and it gets accepted staff will find out sooner or later.

    2. Punctuation and spelling, as Willy stated this is the most important thing staff look at.

    3. Mature, don't just act mature when it's time to fill out a staff application, act mature everywhere. And quite frankly if you're a true staff member you've already done that.

    4. Read the rules before doing anything! This is what got me on my first application, I didn't really understand what staff was really about back then.

    5. Get familiar, don't just join the forums to fill out a staff application, read the rules and look over a few things. Get to know most people and make some friends. Most people who apply I never knew who they were.

    6. Use the format, again, self explanitory, the easiest way to do this is copy the format and paste it, then add any extra color desired and try to make it as neat as possible, then you're ready to start filling out!

I hope you consider all of these before applying!

These things shouldn't/don't need to be told to people. If they have common sense (which is needed to become a staff member), these facts will come naturally to them. If they don't have common sense, they aren't good for a staff position. Just like your first point (1.), people should be their selves. Telling them to be mature makes your post out of order because some people are immature on a normal-basis. Also, having people be put out on their own, like a test, to use their common sense and not be spoon-fed. Thank you for your efforts, but this isn't necessary. Closing.
