Hi. I had this question in mind since I first joined the server and I wanted to know what others think, especially the old players. What does it take for you to genuinely play Minecraft again?

I don't considered myself as an OG player because I legally started playing after buying it during the game's anniversary sale. So, I'm not entirely aware with communities aside from the obvious but I do know how much of an impact it took on many. Seeing how far this server has been through, I feel curious.

The last true Minecraft resurgence I had (that lasted more than a week) was during 2020 covid lockdowns where I became staff here again and played regularly until I got busy later in the year. It was fun for the time but I would've told you in the moment that there are probably better ways I could've spent my time. I think that's the bottom line for a lot of us older players. Real life priorities + naturally losing interest in games as we get older.

To answer your question, to play again, I would need a few friends to be on regularly and I would need to be in a situation where I have the free time.

I've been slowy working to beat every version of the game. I say slowly becuase I generally play other video games like Fortnite Zero Build. That said when the meta in that game is terrible (like it is now) I find my self picking up Minecraft for a bit.
