Warning: If you think I am posting this for attention, leave the thread now. Hello, So it did take me a lot of courage to do that. So please don’t hate on me. :( I have been rejected by many people lately, saying I’m immature and I can’t talk to others. Well, there is a reason to that…. I’m autist. Yep. I am autist. Thanks if you do support me.
Just because autistic people are made fun of on cringe compilations or whatever doesn't mean they're bad people. some people just think you're immature because you like to joke around. Being autistic isn't bad.
Im autistic as well, and i understand how you feel about this type of stuff. autistic people are always bashed, discriminated and hated on by people on the internet. Honestly, those people are wrong. Those people just make fun of autistic people just so they can get some popularity or make themselves feel better, When in reality they are the ones being stupid. Autsitic people actually are incredibly intelligent and know a Lot more than they ever will. Because people who discriminate autistic people are not very smart at all. Some of the next greatest computer geniuses are actually autism sufferers. Did you know the person who invented the Hit franchise Pokemon was a aspergers sufferer? Its not bad to be autistic, i mean yes it angers me when people make fun of others just because of their mental disorders. But just remember youll be one step ahead of them. :)
Some malady kids get when they are born. When they have this, they have difficulty to interact, but they are excessively intelligent though. :)
Okay i hope you guys live a good life then.. I take it as a difference with most people not a disorder
Listen. Just because you're an autist, people shouldn't put you down. In fact, most likely those people are insecure deep down, and they think that they can quench that insecurity, by showing others their flaws. Just go on with your day. Ignore them. If it's a specific group, just walk into another group and make some friends. If they try to make you feel insecure, snap a screenshot, and report them. Like jerry's metaphor for walking away from trolls, in the thread "How to deal with trolls": "Casually riding my bike from school back home when I pass a ghetto school and some random gangsta kids flip me off. Avoid eye contact and keep going my way. Imagine how little of a future these kids will have. Most of them will probably end up in jail. :) Casually go on with my day." (You can find his thread here.) I hope this piece of advice will be useful for you. -Praetor
There are different forms of autism, some can jave a high iq, but some have a lower iq. Okay just had to say that. If you have autism, you should look at what makes you awesome. A lot of people will think that autism is something thats bad and they get bullied by it, but you need to accept that it is a part of your life, it makes you you. Haters? They are always in the world, ignore them and search for the people who like you for being you. Autism can be bad, but there is.more to you than only autism. People only see that lable, but a person isn't only autism. So the most important thing to do is: keep loving yourself.
This is possibly the last correction I will make on this thread, but intelligence does not vary among brain size. It's more like your memory, it vary's among all around your brain and how efficient the information passes through the brain. Brain size has nothing to do with that, it's only for the structure of your head. I have seen smart people who also have little heads. ;)
It doesn't matter if you are autistic. I used to not be able to stand it. I'm also Autistic but I don't mind. I just don't like the bullying. I don't get bullied about it. We are all human.
And there's another one. How many others are there? lol Well, I am happy there are more autistic people on the forums then I expected.
There is nothing wrong with being autistic. I think personally people with autism are really really cool and hella awesome to get to know if you ever get the chance. They are super smart and can do seemingly inhuman feats. People with autism are basically superheroes.
I'm also autistic. I'm too lazy to count the number of people that is now. Anyway, you have my respect because for the longest time I didn't tell anyone because I didn't want to be estranged by society more than I already was. Yet you come right out and say something. That's courage if I've ever seen it. So that makes a few of us. Cheers.
