1.8 and Skyblock

    Its been nearly 2 months since 1.8 came out. And everybody has been wondering when will this server update to 1.8!? Now to some people playing on different game modes this might not be a big deal, but on skyblock (where you can place and use the 1.8 items) this is a huge deal because I can't use 1.8 items such as iron trapdoors, buttons on the floor, slime blocks, and much more. And since 1.8 changes the anvil price system I cant combine items with and enchanted book. I understand that these problems are probably being worked on right now but as I said before, when will the server fully update to 1.8?

    It is literally impossible for 1.8 blocks to work right now. Bukkit has not had a build supporting 1.8 blocks yet, and due to Wolvereness's DMCA notice, it may be a while. Until then we will have to cope.

    I voted yes, meaning I WANT it to. That doesn't mean it will, and I will not force them to do something that is beyond their abilities.

    If your having problems using the server on 1.8 then use 1.7 anyways the server can't update until bukkit for 1.8 comes out. The DMCA issue is between Mojang and Wolvereness

    1.7 is still the recommended version to use. We can not update until Bukkit/Spigot is updated
